An Asgardian Supernova [COMPLETED STORY]

The Avengers.

  My room was untouched since I left for Asgard. What an insane life I had. First I was a nobody, then I was a family friend of royalty. Then I was a monster, a hero and now, a criminal. I found it funny how I managed to pull all that off. It's still insane what I've been through. I was sitting on my bed when someone knocked on the door. I used my powers to open it. It was a boy, I never met him before. He was young, with messy brown hair and a half smile.
  "Hello,"
  "Hi uh-um I'm Peter. I'm Spiderman. You're Nova right?"
  "Hi Peter, yes I'm Nova. What's up?"
  "Wow, you're from space like Thor and Loki? That's crazy. Anyway I just wanted to meet you, you know, after you saved the world and everything."
  "I am from space, it's very cool there. Thank you, but I didn't save the world."
  "Did you not close the portal?"
  "I did but I had help from the others."
  He smiled and I asked if he wanted to sit down. He was 16 years old, so really young. He was so sweet. I told him all about my Asgard life and how I was a criminal now. He was so engaged in the story, he was sweet. I showed him some of my tricks and he showed me some of his web tricks too. He was pretty good. He made me feel old, I was 25 in Earth years. But in Asgard years, I'm much older, a few hundred years. Time goes by slowly on Asgard, much slower than Earth. Peter had to go home to his aunt's house so I bid him farewell and closed my door. Another knock, why can't everyone just come at once? I opened it with my powers and she waved at me. I was shocked.

  She looked like me, only a little younger and her face was different. He wore red clothes, skirt though. I never wore skirts. Her hair was lighter than mine. She also had an accent.
  "I'm Wanda Maximoff. Nova?"
  "Hey Wanda, yeah I'm Nova."
  "Nice to meet the girl who closed the gateway after all this time."
  "Time definitely went by fast." It's been about another Earth year since I closed the wormhole.
  "You know, we're oddly alike. In different ways you might think."
  "What ways?"
  She opened her palm and a red wisp of magic flew around her hand. I looked down at mine and did the same thing. She smiled. This was insane.
  "I was experimented on by Hydra, my brother Pietro is super fast."
  "That's cool-not the whole Hydra part but the mind and speed stuff is."
  "Definitely is, I must be going. See you around the tower."

  There were quite a few Avengers that I hadn't heard of I guess. Like Wanda, I just met her and Peter for the first times today. I've never even met Pietro. I have no idea how many other people I'll have to talk to. I guess it was kind of cool, learning about everyone else's abilities and whatnot. I needed to get out of my room more I guess. I just didn't really know these people. I wish I was back in San Francisco right now. My only friend was Loki, and he was hated by most of these people. Thor always seemed a little on edge around me, I get why though. I would be too. Tomorrow, I would venture out in to the scariest place I could think of right now.... the living room.

  The Sun rose before I was ready for it to. I got dressed and walked outside of my room, this was it. I was exposed. I needed to find Loki. I didn't know my way around the place at all, but I knew where Loki's room was. He actually spent more time outside of his room than I did, and that's really saying something. I snuck over to his room and knocked quietly. He didn't answer so I just went in. He was sitting on his bed with a book in hand.
  "Finally came out did you?"
  "I did, big accomplishment of mine."
  "I am very proud. What do you want?"
  "Wow that's rude. I wanted to see my best friend."
  "You want me to show you around and stick by you so you don't get lost or feel uncomfortable."
  "Well when you put it that way..."
  "Let's go."
  "Really?!"
  "Before I change my mind." I was out the door in about 3 seconds flat.

  The living room was around the corner from my room, so it wasn't too hard to find. Natasha, Bruce, Tony and Thor were sitting in there.
  "Brother, Nova, come join us!" Thor was happy this morning.
  "Wow, you finally came out of your room, thought you died or something." I rolled my eyes at Tony.
  "Nice to see you Nova." I smiled and muttered a "you too," a little too quiet though.
