An Asgardian Supernova [COMPLETED STORY]

Monster.

The princes' jaws dropped at the sight infront of them. Somebody other than the God of Thunder could wield the hammer. Nova threw the hammer at Loki, sending him plummeting off of the roof. Thor summoned his hammer and charged at Nova this time. Nova screamed as she raised both of her hands revealing crimson magic forming. The magic flew from her hands and into Thor's chest. He was instantly brought to his knees. Nova continued forcing the magic into Thor, causing him immense pain. Nova seemed to be unstoppable in the moment, it was until Loki stabbed her in the back, causing her to double over. Nova stopped the magic and fell to the ground.

When she woke up she was surrounded by Loki, Frigga, Odin and what seemed to be many doctors.
"Nova! You're okay!" Loki cried with joy. This time, Nova was aware of what she had
done.
"Im so sorry! I don't know what came over me! I can't control myself when I get angry. Oh are those poor men okay?" She continued rambling on until Loki stopped her.
"Nova, we were worried about you! You've been knocked out for 2 days. We thought you had died or something!"
"The men are alright, Thor and Loki came before anything too bad happened."
Thor. Thor! Where was Thor?! She shot up in the hospital bed and closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes, they were golden. She could see Thor, in a different hospital room, passed out on a bed. Barely breathing. She screamed his name and sprung up from the bed. She ripped the IV out of her arm and ran out of the room.

She found Thor's room and ran beside him. She was bawling. He was in a coma because of her. The others came rushing in shortly after. Nova tried thinking of everything that could save him, but she thought of nothing.
"Step away from him Nova."
She whipped around and was face to face with a doctor.
"No! I did this to him!"
"Nova, now!" Loki was firm. He was never firm so she did as he commanded. She stepped back from Thor and ran out of the room.

Loki had followed her out of the room and down the hallway. He grabbed her shoulder and turned her around. Her eyes were puffy and red. He hugged her and she began crying again. In this moment, she hated herself and what she had become. A monster.

A few weeks later, Nova and Loki were training in the palace. She has been extra careful during the past few weeks to not get angry. She couldn't let the people see her like that. Instead, she had kept herself busy by doing kind deeds. She had spent more time than ever at the palace. She basically lived there now. Odin wanted to keep an eye on her, in case something did happen. Nova's popularity began to grow and most of Asgard knew her.

Nobody had heard of the incidents, which made Nova feel much better. She was worried the public would turn against her if they found out what a monster she was. Of course she didn't mean it but that doesn't mean she didn't torture those people.

Nova had gone a month straight with no incidents. Any normal person would've been happy, but Nova wasn't. She was more nervous than ever. Since nothing had happened in over a month, she was afraid that something would happen, and be worse than normal. Her and Loki tried everything to get Thor to wake up, nothing worked. One day while Loki and Nova were training, he took it too far accidentally.

Her eyes turned crimson and Loki started trying to calm her down. She flung him into the gym wall and he landed on the ground with a thud. Loki threw a knife at her but she caught it and threw it back. The magic from her hands began to form as usual and soon, Loki was on the ground yelling for help. Guards ran through the door but Nova threw knifes that appeared from her hands. They landed in the chests of the three guards. Their lifeless bodies fell to the ground. Loki transfigured into a bird and flew up and away from her. He then turned into himself and ran through the door, locking it behind him. Nova fell to the ground but got back up quickly. She then unlocked the door with her mind and walked out into the hallway.

She knew the palace like the back of her hand, so she went straight to Loki's room. Nobody in sight. She then made her way to Frigga's room. There stood Loki and his mother. Frigga could usually calm her down, after all, she saved her all of those years ago. Loki ran into the other room and Frigga approached Nova. Nova began to move her hands to aim at her. Frigga quickly ducked and ran to Nova, and knocked her to the ground. More guards barged through the door, but again, Nova sent knives flying backwards into the mens' chests. Frigga grunted and punched Nova in the nose. Nova tripped Frigga and stepped on her, crushing her ribs. She then bent down and wrapped her hand around Frigga's neck. Frigga struggled to break free from Nova's grasp but was unsuccessful. Nova almost killed her, that was until Odin opened the door. With him was Thor and Loki. Thor threw his hammer at Nova, not remembering she could also wield it. She caught it and dropped it on Frigga. She then stood up and began to fight off the others. Thor summoned his hammer but Odin had already pinned Nova to the ground with his staff. She couldn't move, so Thor took his opportunity and smacked her over the head with it, knocking her out cold.

Nova woke up later and apologized, crying. She hated herself. Her and Frigga took a walk around the building. It was now that she saw all the dead bodies.
"Frigga?"
"Yes dear?"
"What are those bodies from? Who killed them?"
Frigga didn't want to tell Nova the truth, but she knew she would find out eventually.
"Dear, when you attacked yesterday, you killed those men who were trying to stop you."
Nova felt numb. She fell to the ground and had no emotion. She had killed people. That was what she was afraid of. She killed innocent people. She was sure that the boys hated her now. Especially Odin. He was like her second father, and she had attacked the three people who meant something to him. What she did was unforgivable. The people would find out this time for sure. She would be ruined.

She returned to the common room where the boys were sitting.
"I'm a monster."
That's all she could say. What else could she say? The showed no emotion whatsoever. The boys began to say how she wasn't a monster and how it was an accident, but she had heard all this before. Loki got up and hugged her, but she pushed him away. She didn't want to risk hurting him again. He looked genuinely hurt. She decided that she should go home, so that's exactly what she did. She opened the door and walked out, she didn't even say goodbye.
