An Asgardian Supernova [COMPLETED STORY]

The Big Apple.

*Nova's POV continued*
  My flight left the next day so I threw a bunch of clothes into a bag and called it packing. I put my crimson and black outfit on. Tons cancelled their flights because of the danger rising there but the planes were still flying. I was ready. I would find Stark tower and talk to Tony and tell him that I'll be available if he needs me to be. It would be simple right?

I got to the airport and was nervous not just for the danger New York held, but the plane too. I've never been on one. That wasn't even the scary part though. I could always teleport there. Ugh why don't I just do that, to an alleyway or something. I still have the hotel booked. I ran out of that airport and went to a place where I didn't see anyone around, and left.

I arrived somewhere in New York City but to my luck, there was nobody around. I found my hotel, which was only a few blocks away, checked in and got to my room. There was broken buildings and not alot of people out and about. Stark tower was about an hour drive, so I called a taxi and off I went. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the world knew about my powers. If I could save the planet that saved me, maybe it wouldn't be terrible. My stomach turned at the thought of what monster it would be though. I was good a fighting of Asgardians but what if it was something more?

  When I reached the tower, someone familiar was leaving. Pepper!
  "Excuse me are you Miss Pepper Potts?"
  "I am, can I help you?"
  "Im looking for Mr. Stark. I think I can help with the problem."
  "I'm sorry dear, I can't let you in, so many people want to see him."
  "I'm not from Earth, I moved here a year ago. I have some special things I can do. If the monsters are from space, I might know just how to beat them."

  Pepper smiled and agreed to let me in. There were so many floors. Finally, she lead me into a meeting room and told me Stark would be there in a minute. It wasn't even a minute then he walked in. He looked stern.
  "What's your name?" He wasn't wasting time.
  "I'm Nova. I'm from a different planet, you might've heard of Asgard from when Thor visited."
  "I have. You know him?"
  "I do indeed. We grew up together. If the monster is from space I might know what it is and how to defeat it."
  "Cool. The Avengers are coming. I'll introduce you whenever they show up. I'm Iron man."
  "Nice."
  The two of us chatted until the elevator dinged and some men and a girl stepped out. They were huge.
  "Nova, this is Steve, Clint, Bruce and Natasha. The Avengers."
  "Hi," I didn't know what else to say.
  "Nice to meet you Nova. What are you here for?" I think that was Natasha.
  "Nova thinks she can help take down our threat. Shes from Asgard and knows Thor. Oh right where is Thor?" Said Tony.
  "Thor's on his way. Should be here soon," as if on cue, the elevator door opened and out walked Thor.

  He dropped Mjölnir and his jaw basically hit the ground. He ran over to me and pulled me into a lung crushing hug.
  "Nova?"
  "Hey buddy."
  "Does Loki know you're here? Have you told him yet?"
  "No. No, how is he Thor?"
  "Not well. He misses you. He's sad. He's kind of going insane."
  "I'm sorry."
  "Oh Nova. Everyone was so worried about you. What were you thinking?"
  "I couldn't hurt anyone else."
  "Thor pulled away from her and smiled. But then, he frowned. What was wrong?
  "Nova, the entity we are trying to take down today is from Asgard. Loki is trying to take over Earth." Tony sighed.
  "L-Loki?" My heart stopped. Not my Loki. The only thing I ever loved. They had to be lying right? He wouldn't do anything that crazy. Would he?
  "Nova sit down," Thor ordered. I sat down and thought. Maybe if he saw me he'd stay in Asgard. I had to go through with this. I had to take him down.
  "I'm still going to fight him. We're going to take him down, but don't hurt him, please."
  Everyone looked shocked. This was the right choice though. I've hid from him for to long. It was time. I put my suit on with a snap of my fingers. Let's do this.

  You walked out of Stark tower while all hell broke loose. Things were flying everywhere, cars, garbage, bricks. Where was he? I wanted to be the first to talk to him I closed my eyes and I saw him. On top of Stark tower. I signalled Thor and flew up to the roof. There he was. Facing the other way. He looked distressed just from the back of him. A tear rolled down my cheek. I wiped it away and called out to him.
