I woke up bright and early to prepare for my trip to Asgard. Hopefully they would accept my decision but if not, then I'll sneak out again. I mean it wasn't hard the first time. I signed and sat back down on the bed. Maybe if I was quiet, I could sneak out without Thor noticing me. I cracked open the door and jumped back. Thor was sitting right outside of it. I signed and brushed myself off then opened the door all the way.
"Um what are you doing here?"
"Waiting for you so you can't get away."
Hmm. He knew what I was up to. So close. He lead me to the kitchen and I made toast. The other Avengers weren't awake yet. I washed my plate and put it away. Thor didn't do much other than try and make small talk with me. I wasn't interested.
"You two are up early," Tony said as he walked into the kitchen as well.
"Indeed Stark. Nova and I are heading home today. We wanted to make good time."
"Yeah ok. Good luck Nova. Hope to see you again."
"Oh don't worry, you can count on it." There was no way I wasn't coming back. Thor kept urging me to hurry up. I could tell he really wanted to get a move on. I changed into some nicer clothes. Black dress pants and a crimson blouse. Women on Asgard wore dresses but I personally hated wearing dresses. They were so uncomfortable and just downright ugly. I preferred dressing more masculine, although I never wore the stiff leather pants and chains and armor. I preferred blouses if I couldn't wear my cotton or silk shirts. I had to wear heels, especially now, I was meeting Frigga and Odin after a month (in Asgard time). I was finally ready. We said our goodbyes to the Avengers and Thor and I walked outside. There weren't alot of people around so he called Hiemdall and he opened the Bifrost. We stepped into the rainbow tunnel and away we went. We flew through the cosmos and it was just how I remembered. Just moments after, our feet hit the ground. We were greeted my a smiling Hiemdall, who took me into a hug before I could register that we made it. He smiled at me and him and Thor exchanged greetings. Thor grabbed my hand and together, we walked to the palace. Everything was just the same as when I left. The shops, the homes, everything. Memories flooded my mind. I shuddered as we walked past my old place, it looked abandoned. We were almost there. People hadn't really noticed me yet, so that was good. I mean I couldn't really be noticed, I had a hood over my face. How I didn't miss this place. Sure, it was my home, but was it really? I ruined families, caused so many problems and hurt my best friend. I decided I would go see Loki. I owed him that. I hurt him and then left him. What kind of friend was I? I wanted to go see him first, maybe Thor would let me.
"Thor?"
"Yes?"
"I know it's alot to ask, but can we go see Loki first please?"
"I'm afraid not, I told my mother and father we would be there in an hour, and you need to get changed."
"Oh ok."
Yeah, that was not okay. I knew it was bad for me to even think of doing this, but I did anyway. I cloned myself and the illusion continued following alongside Thor and I turned myself invisible. I snuck off and ran towards the palace. It was the same as well, which made it easy for me to find the hospital. I turned a few times and jogged down a few corridors but soon enough I found it. There was his name, on the door with his file. There were no windows on his room, which wasn't a good thing. I opened the door but made an illusion that it was still closed. He was awake, sitting in his bed reading a book. When I opened the door, he didn't look up from the book, but kept reading. He was probably used to the nurses walking in and out. I closed it behind me and then he looked up, the nurses didn't close the doors. His emerald green eyed peeked over the top of the book and although I was invisible, I knew he could tell it was me. I snapped my fingers and there I was, in his hospital room. He looked at me and rolled his eyes.
"Change of heart?" He sounded smug.
"Nope, forcefully brought here."
"Good to know you care."
"I'm supposed to be with your parents and Thor right now but I snuck off because Thor said I couldn't see you yet. I care."
"That makes one of us then."
"Listen I know I messed up but I didn't want to ruin your family's image or hurt anyone else. I thought about you everyday. I checked on you everyday. I missed you so much. You were the only reason I didn't want to go to Earth."
"Wonderful."
Just as he said that the door opened. I snapped my fingers and turned invisible again, nobody could know I was here. Thor walked in.
"Where is she Loki?"
"Where is who?"
"Nova."
"Shes back? Where? Can I see her?" He sat up more in his bed and put his book down. He seemed to act genuinely interested.
"She learned well from you and snuck off, missing her meeting with mother and father."
"What a reckless girl she is."
"I know she's here, just tell me."
"Shes not."
"I guess I'll just walk around this room until I find her then."
"Please."
Thor walked around the room, I kept scuttling out of the way but the room wasn't that big. Suddenly Thor reached his hand out and grabbed my arm. Shoot! I turned back to visible and he began pulling me out the door, mumbling under his breath. I pulled and kicked and squirmed but he wasn't letting go. I screamed Loki's name and he tried to get out of his bed but he was tied down. He called my name but it was too late. I was out of the hospital and being dragged to the throne room.
