It's quite uncomfortable.
I turn to look at you. You're already standing up and walking to the front of the class.
I follow after.
I try to read your expression as the teacher gives us the CD that homed our project.
You don't look surprised.
Just extremely happy.
You turn to me with a wide smile as we walk back to our seats.
"I knew we were going to be part of the top five," you say. "I knew from the moment you wrote down those amazing lyrics."
