I'm still preparing behind the stage when I hear the people outside applaud for the next performance.
I raise my head and pause from fixing the buttons on my shirt when I hear your name spoken through a microphone.
"Here's a special gift for all you sad people! Let's welcome tonight's group for angsty teens, led by the new kid Lee Jihoon of class 7-A, Twoteen!"
A wide smile slips onto my face as I try my best to listen for your voice, to cherish it as long as it lasts.

After my group's performance, everyone begins to clap and cheer.
I can feel myself shaking as I walk off the stage. I'm not used to performing in front of big crowds.
Jae's voice enters the air again, introducing the next group, "Up next is the most awaited dance group of the night! Kwon Soonyoung, that other new kid from class 7-A, will surely lead them to the top! Let's give a huge round of applause for Super Kwonicles!"
I tell myself there's no reason for me to turn around, but then the music starts playing and I can't help myself from looking back.
You stand in the middle and the spotlight shines on you.
For a second there, I think you stole my breath away.
