I'm waiting for you again.
I'm leaning on the wall by the school gate. It strangely became a habit, but it isn't that bad. It doesn't do me any harm anyways.
I turn to the sound of you calling my name. The next thing I know, you are apologizing.
호시
"Sorry, Jihoon. I have to go somewhere pretty important today. I can't walk with you again," I say with furrowed brows.
I feel bad for ditching you.
This is the second time.
"Oh it's fine," you say.
I can't tell what you are feeling.
It makes me even more troubled.
"I'm sorry," I apologize again.
You raise an eyebrow at me. "Why are you sorry?"
"I-"
You speak and cut me off, "I'll leave first. I just remembered. My mom wants me to help her with dinner tonight."
"Oh okay," I say.
You give me a nod of goodbye and start walking away, just like last time, down the same street the two of us always take.
I sigh to myself.
I want to tell you something.
I want to tell you about where I'm going and spill words talking about this important thing.
But I don't know what you'll think of it if I did.
