"What, no," you say.
You finally relax in my arms.
"Don't be sorry. Maybe we weren't meant to meet."
I wish we can stay like this forever.
Us. Close together like this.
"Thank you," I hear you say close to my ear.
You're the first to pull away from the hug. I try my best not to show my disappointment.
Then, our eyes meet.
And I see your's shimmer brightly.
It feels longer than our glances in the hallways, because it is.
I don't want to look away.
But something else catches my attention.
