After I realized what had happened with the makeup artist, I had managed to tell the producers the story and her job was terminated. Normally I would feel awful about that, but the way she completely stabbed me in the back was enough to not feel that way.
Now, Eternally Hunted was in full swing. The writers had written in my pregnancy, which added an additional element of drama.
I was just barely two months along, but the production team wanted me taking more breaks than I usually do so I was careful with the baby. I often spent breaks just scrolling on Instagram, seeing what my friends were up to.

As I looked at the time, I took a deep breath. I had to be back on set soon, so I got out of my chair and made my way over.
As I walked, I looked up and saw a familiar face. "Gracie?"
"Beth?" The next thing I knew, the two of us were wrapped in a hug.
"Oh my gosh! What are you doing here?" I raised an eyebrow at her question.
"Working..." As I was about to question why she was here, I saw Ryan turn a corner.
"Baby?" Beth turned her head around with a smile. Before I knew it, the two were tightly embraced as their lips met. As they pulled away, he smiled widely. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm out on fall break and I wanted to surprise you! But why didn't you tell me Gracie was your costar again?" She looked back at me, and I shrugged. I had no idea what was going on.
"Well, this show is kind of a secret at the moment."
"Exactly. Hell, even Ali and Zendaya don't know about it, Beth." I had told Lesley, though. I did not want another fight between us, and she promised to keep it a secret. "Now, my question is, why didn't I know about you two?" Beth blushed as Ryan wrapped an arm around her.
"We wanted to keep our relationship a secret until I graduated." I nodded softly, smiling. I could completely understand Beth wanting to stay out of the public eye so she could focus on her studies.
"I'm glad you two are happy. But Ryan, I swear on my life that if you hurt a hair on my beautiful little's head, I'll shove my foot so far up your ass you'll be able to taste it." Beth chuckled as Ryan's eyes widened.
"Damn, Grace. Remind me never to piss you off."
It was Halloween night, and typically Tom and I would be out at a party. But, with our new addition, we decided it would be better if the two of us just stayed home and handed out candy to any trick or treaters.
Towards nine pm, the doorbell had all but stopped ringing, so that quickly turned into us eating our leftover candy as we watched every Halloween Heist episode of Brooklyn 99. "This one's my favorite." I smiled as the episode from season five began.
"That's just because you love love." Tom chuckled, and I rolled my eyes. At that, I heard my phone ring. As I went to silence it, I saw who it was and immediately answered. "Hey, Bill." Bill was the agent that represented both Tom and myself, so I knew this was important. Tom paused the show as I listened to him.
I could feel my jaw drop as I heard what he said, and Tom raised an eyebrow. "Are you serious?!" As I listened, I bit my lip gently. This was a lot to take in, and I could tell that Tom was wondering what I was thinking. "Yeah, sitting down with the writers would make me feel a lot better about it."
Tom rested a hand on my leg, and I smiled and took his hand gently. "Okay. I'll do it. Eternally Hunted is getting ready to wrap shooting for the mid-season break, so I can do it during the break." After our call ended, Tom looked at me.
"What was that about?"
"I got a call to be a guest star on an American TV show." Tom raised an eyebrow, and I smiled as I gestured to the TV.
It took him a second to realize what I meant. "No way! Grace, that's incredible!" He pulled me into a hug, and I grinned.
"You wanna come to set with me for it?" He looked like he could have died happy right there, and I chuckled.
"Please?" As I nodded, he pulled me close and held on tight. "You're the best."
"Oh come on, you didn't think I'd tell you and then not let you come, right?" I could see him blush, and I chuckled. "Asshole."
"Do you know the plot of the episode?" With that, I nodded gently.
"You know how sometimes they'll do episodes with serious subject matter?" He nodded slowly, raising an eyebrow. "The plot is my story, where I didn't know who drugged me. The sex crimes unit refuses my case, so I find my way over to them for help."
"Are you gonna be able to handle something that big?"
"Title of your sex tape." That got a chuckle from both of us, and I nodded. "Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm going to sit down with the episode writers so they can talk to me and figure out how to do it without triggering me unintentionally."
"I'm so happy for you, baby." I grinned softly, pulling him close.
"I'm so happy for us. It feels like nothing could go wrong at all."
