Fifty-Four

After our time in Los Angeles, Tom surprised me with one last stop on our honeymoon--the Maldives. He and I had discussed our dream vacation spots years ago, and we were astounded to know that we both dreamed of visiting the Maldives. 

So we spent about a week in the tropical islands, having nothing to do and all the time in the world to do it. It was a great end to our wonderful honeymoon tour.

As the plane landed in the Heathrow airport, I pressed a kiss to his forehead softly. "We're home, baby." He woke up and looked up at me with a smile.

"I missed our little princess."

"I did too." I smiled gently. My parents and Annabelle had flown in last night, and we were going to get lunch together before they flew back.

As we sat in our Uber to our apartment, I looked over at Tom. "So, we're announcing the movie tonight, right?"

"We are. I had Haz grab all of the things we need." I raised an eyebrow sarcastically. Every time I saw Harrison try to get her ready for the day, he often forgot at least one crucial part of an outfit. "I also had Steph help him."

"Okay, so we're in good hands." I teased, and he chuckled softly.

"He's trying, darling."

"That he is, I will say." I smiled, leaning my head on his shoulder. "I love you so much."

"I love you too. I can't wait to fully immerse ourselves in domestic life."

"Loser." I chuckled, and he rolled his eyes at that. He pressed a kiss to my head, wrapping an arm around me and pulling me into him. "How hard do you think we'd have to ask to do the iconic Spider-Man upside down kiss in this film?"

"Not hard at all. I'm technically one of the producers now, so I get creative input. I can make that happen." I smiled widely at that, and he chuckled. "You're gonna try to abuse that power, aren't you?"

"Is me telling you my ideas and you bringing them in if you like them abusing that power?" He chuckled as I looked up at him.

"You're really something else, Grace." I smiled as he started rubbing my arm.

"That's why you married me."

"Indeed."

We had offered to bring my parents to the airport for their flight home, but they wanted us to spend time with Annabelle and insisted that they get a cab. After we bid our goodbyes, I smiled as I sat on the floor with Annabelle and Tom went to find the outfit Harrison and Steph had gotten.

"Hi there, baby girl. Mommy missed you so much." She smiled at me as she sat up. "You're getting so big, princess."

"She is, isn't she?" I looked up to see Tom holding the outfit, and I grinned widely. 

"We've turned into those super cheesy parents already, haven't we?"

"Absolutely, but I wouldn't have it any other way." He grinned as he sat down next to me. "Princess, are you ready to make people happy?"

I smiled as I set my phone down, picking Annabelle up so I could feed her. "Honestly, Grace, the three of us definitely beat Penny, Chip and Used Napkin." Tom teased as he sat down next to us, pulling me into his lap so the three of us were in a family huddle.

"That is completely false. No one will ever beat those three." I chuckled as he smiled, pressing a kiss to my cheek. "We can try, though."

"Sounds good." He smiled, grabbing the remote and turning on the TV. "Have you heard any news about the show yet?"

Eternally Hunted had premiered and aired the first three episodes while we were on our honeymoon, so I was unable to keep up with the fans as much as some of the other members of our cast and crew.

"Ryan texted me after the most recent episode aired. Apparently, people love it. They're all so excited to see how we fight the immortal hunters." I smiled gently, and he grinned. "He said there's no guarantee, but there's a high likelihood that we'll get a second season."

"I'm so proud of you, darling." He grinned, pulling me close. 

"I'm proud of you too. Hell, you're technically a movie producer now. I don't think I could be prouder at your age."

"I keep forgetting that you're like three years younger than I am." I chuckled gently at that, smiling as I kissed him gently.

As we pulled away, he smiled and pushed some hair from my face. "You look absolutely gorgeous."

"You always say that." I chuckled, pushing some of my hair back. 

"You always look gorgeous." He grinned softly. Annabelle decided she was done, and I smiled as I began burping her. "Can I hold her?"

"Of course, once I finish." He grinned, and as soon as she let out a burp, I kissed her head and gently placed her in Tom's arms. He smiled as he held her up close, and she grinned as her hand immediately went to his hair and she began gently playing with his curls. "A girl after my own heart," I chuckled, and he smiled as he kissed her nose.

"I couldn't be happier, my darling."

"Neither could I, dear. Neither could I."
