Y/n's pov:

I wake up to the sun shining on my eyes and roll over towards the smell of food. My eyes open to see Lexa and Clarke sitting on my stool quietly talking. I stay lying down since they haven't noticed I have woken up and take the opportunity to watch their figures.

Whatever their talking about has Lexa slightly concerned. I can see she is trying to hide it, but every so often there is a twitch in her eyebrow like she is questioning herself. She crosses and uncrosses her legs to try and get comfy on my desk while she stares and listens intently to Clarke. Her eyes training on the blonde's features slowly dancing on each of the details of Clarke's face. She bites her lip and her eyes move to Clarke's lips. She shifts her legs and her eyes move to Clarke's eyes sweeping for a moment over the blonde's soft sunkissed cheeks. Clarke is not oblivious to Lexa's focus while her arms brandish in the air. She leans forward her shoulder muscles relaxing at the closeness their figures hold. Her voice comes in a hushed warm tone that sounds just like how napping on a sunny rock would feel. Comforting and honest, almost pure. Clarke's eyes stayed trained loyally on Lexa's green orbs and with a palm up she absentmindedly holds Lexa's hand softly like she could break it and begins to rub her thumb on the back of the brunette's hand.

I bite my lip feeling my mouth salivate with the drifting smell of food. I turn my head back to look at the ceiling and close my eyes to allow them to finish their conversation before I let them know I am awake. My lips curl at the corners as an old song from Jasper's playlist begins to play in my head. I let myself hum softly to the music.

I hear shuffling from their direction and let my hum go quiet, feeling their presence next to me. I hold in my breath as I feel their hands on my skin, my heart beating loudly and moving up into my ears. "I will not let anything happen to our people Clarke," my lips slip apart slightly, silently asking them to keep their hands on me. "I know." Both of their voices are raw, they shake a small bit in their uncertainty. I furrow my eyebrows to try to understand what has them so confused, but let it slip from my thoughts because they will tell me when they are ready. I lay there still, feeling their soft touches graze over my skin.

"We should wake her up," Clarke's voice quiets as I feel her shift to turn her head, probably to the untouched food, "she needs to eat." A peaceful sigh is heard as I'm sure Lexa agrees, "will you let me train her more? I want her to be ready just in case." There is a pause that hangs in the air while a reply is waited for. I'm sure they are thinking about the mountain man and what would have happened if they hadn't shown up. "Fine, but I'm coming to and I'm bringing Raven along to discuss our weapons and Polis." "Okay."

After a moment of calm silence, I feel a small shake on my shoulder. "Hey Y/nn, time to wake up." I slowly open my eyes and pretend to adjust to the light. I notice both of their eyes are slightly dilated and the bags under their eyes seem bigger than they were last night. "Good morning puppy," I roll my eyes and shift to sit up. "I smell food," Lexa smirks and turns to grab the food before placing it on my lap. I lick my lips and feel my mouth salivate again, "thank you." I see them both nod out of the corner of my eye before I start to eat the breakfast they brought me.

"Hey Y/nn," I nod to let them know they have my attention, not looking up from the food. "Why didn't you sleep in the tent last night with us?" My eyes go wide but I immediately hide the surprise I got from the question. I continue to eat my food and answer with a simple shrug not sure I could really explain my thought process. "He-" Clarke cuts me off by putting her finger to my lips as Lexa takes my food to the other end of the bed. The blonde turns my face to look at hers. I watch her eyes shift from my left eye to my right and then move along my face to probably look for an answer. "I want a real answer Y/n." I pull my hands close to me on my lap and try to feign comfortability by rolling my eyes at Lexa's clear turn on from Clarke's straightforwardness. Clarke lightly pinches my chin and jaw in her hand to bring my attention to her, an eyebrow raised waiting for an answer.

"I don't know." I internally curse myself to allow myself to speak and not controlling my voice. Lexa's eyebrows raise to mimick Clarke's and I roll my eyes again realizing they're not giving up. "It it's your room, I guess," I shift my gaze to look at my fumbling hands not able to watch their reactions because I know it could break me. "I just don't really belong in Clexa's room." I flinch when I hear a breath being loudly taken in. There's a moments pause and I wait for them to turn and leave my little tent.

I feel a shift in weight by my legs and watch Lexa climb on my bed and sit on my legs shifting up my body to rest on my hips so she and Clarke are the same distance from my face. She cocks an eyebrow and lets her smirk grow, "open up puppy." "I'm not a-" She slips the forked food in between my lips and Clarke pushes my chin up to close it. "What was that? I couldn't hear you."

"It's so weird," I furrow my eyebrows while I chew, feeling their eyes raking over my upper body and mentally tearing off my tank top. "Wha-" Another forkful in my mouth, Clarke laughs and Lexa tries to hold back her own laughter. "With all these tattoos, you look like a killer maybe," I feel Clarke's thumb brush over the arrow on my inner left arm. "But baby," my eyes rush to meet the blondes showing the small bit of attachment I have with the nickname. "You're soft." I pout and narrow my eyes at her. "Am no-" Lexa taps my chin up, proud of herself for feeding me. I roll my eyes and bring them back to Clarke. "Prove it."
