Chapter 6

Your P.O.V.
It was Sunday which meant Dad and Ryland are coming back home.Morgan,Garret, and I decided to go to the mall to hang out.We walked around to different stores and decided to go to Hot Topic,"Garret they have a lot of Harry Potter stuff here." I said.
"Oh my gosh really!?"He said excitedly while smiling big.
"Let's go inside." I said while grabbing Garret's arm and dragging him into Hot Topic.Morgan was giggling at us while she followed us inside.I went to the Harry Potter section to show Garret the Harry Potter section.He gasped in awe and saw a few things he liked he ended up grabbing some things. I grabbed a wand and some of my Hogwart house merch. We bought our stuff and left the store we decided to eat some food.We found a place to eat and ordered our food.Once we got our food we found a table and started eating our food.~time skip~
We finally got home and started watching movies while eating some Chipotle.
"I can't wait to put my new wands in my wand collection." Garret giggled
"Do you remember when you got me into Harry Potter as a kid and dad was so annoyed." I said while laughing Garret laughed along,"Oh yeah that was hilarious."he said while laughing.
*Flash back*
"Hey (y/n) want to watch some pretty cool movies while your dad's gone?" Uncle Garret asked.
"Sure what kind of movie are we going to watch?" I asked while smiling
"Some pretty magical stuff."He said with a big smile on his face. I went to the couch and sat there while Uncle Garret put in the movie. Once Uncle Garret put the movie in he sat beside me and we sat and watched the movie. Uncle Garret said it was one of his favorite movies ever, Harry Potter.~few hours later~
"That was EPIC!" I said while jumping on the couch,"The magic was so amazing and oh my gosh all the cool magical animals!" I said filled with excitement Uncle Garret laughed.
"I'm glad you liked it." He said while smiling widely.I heard the front door open. I ran towards the door and saw dad walk in. I ran towards him and hugged him,"Dad guess what?!" I exclaimed excitedly.
"What?" He asked while smiling.
"I watched Harry Potter with Uncle Garret and it was AWESOME! I want a wand and be a wizard!" I exclaimed happily.
"Oh no Garret look at what you did!"Dad said while groaning.Garret just laughed.
"Now I have another wizard nerd in my life." Dad said while playfully rolling his eyes.
Me and Garret laughed.
*flashback over*
"Those were some pretty good times."I said while smiling.
"You were so small."Garret gushed I chuckled and shook my head. Those days were so fun I still can't believe I have a dad like Shane. I feel like I don't deserve the people I have in my life. I looked at Garret and Morgan who were talking and laughing, I smiled at them. Who knew I would have such an amazing family like them if it wasn't for them I would've never been the person I am today. We finally finished up the movie I started to feel sleepy and ended up falling asleep.
Morgan's P.O. V.
I looked over and saw that (y/n) fell asleep. I looked over at Garret who was putting a blanket over (y/n). I smiled at them,"So what's your guys history with each other?" I asked/ whispered to Garret.
"Between me and (y/n) well I've known her since she was young. I've got to see her grow up and develop into who she is today. But me and (y/n) have been best friends since the start. We always go on adventures together and do some pretty weird things together.But we always have a fun time together and doing some pretty crazy things."he explained while smiling,"She's an amazing person to hang out with she's gone through a lot from what Shane has told me. She's lost a lot while being in the adoption and even while living with Shane..." he said sadly.
"What happened?"I asked.
"Well I don't know if I'm even supposed to tell you but (y/n) lost a friend in a tragic way a few years before Shane met Ryland. She was going through a pretty tough time at that point. She still misses her friend and talks about them sometimes. She's very strong from everything she's gone through." He explained while looking over at (y/n).
"Oh I'm sorry for asking." I apologized Garret looked back at me and shook his head
"It's okay it's all in the past now." He said
"Yeah she is a very strong girl." I said while smiling warmly.

Your P.O.V.
I rubbed my eyes and noticed it was kind of late. I looked over and saw Garret and Morgan sleeping on the couch. I checked the time on my phone 10:48 pm. I heard the door open I saw dad and Ryland walk in with their suitcases I sat up and moved the blanket off of me to help them,"Hey guys how was it?" I asked while taking their suitcases out of their hands.
"It was really fun." Ryland said while smiling up at Shane.
"Definitely what we needed." Shane said while smiling at me I smiled back at them. I put their suitcases to the side and went back to the couch dad and Ryland sat down and sighed.
"I'm glad you guys had fun." I said while smiling at them.
"Yeah I am too." Dad replied while looking over at me.
"I'm probably going to crash again even though I just woke up." I said while giggling, Ryland smiled and shook his head.
"I think we're the ones who's going to crash." Ryland said while yawning, I nodded.
"Yeah we'll see you in the morning." Dad said while getting up and placing a kiss on my head. Ryland gave me a hug and a kiss on my head also,"Night guys love you." I said while smiling.
"Night." They said while heading upstairs.
