Chapter 9 Hey Kat

Shane's p.o.v.
I placed Kat on the couch and she's been sleeping for a few hours. It might be tough raising a three year old and a teenager.I was in the kitchen grabbing a soda,"Umm dad? I'm hungwy.." I heard Kat say I looked over and saw Kat rubbing her eyes.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked
"Pizza.?" She suggested I nodded.
"Sure thing." I said she smiled and jumped around. I smiled  at her I remember when I first got (y/n). She was so small at the time now she's all grown up it makes me feel like maybe I can restart with Kat. I wish kids didn't grow up. I called the closest pizza place and it was only going to take twenty minutes. I went to go look for Kat and couldn't find her anywhere. I went upstairs and heard talking from (y/n)'s room,"How do you like it here Kat?" I heard (y/n) asked
"It's weally fun and daddy's pretty cool and so is daddy number two. I didn't know I'd have two daddy's." I heard Kat say (y/n) giggled.
"Yeah they are amazing parents. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them." I heard (y/n) said.
"Why not?" Kat asked
"I'd probably make bad decisions but if it wasn't for dad and Ryland I wouldn't be who I am today." (Y/n) replied. I was surprised by what both girls said. It made me want to cry and hug them tight and never let them go.~...~
We all sat down and started eating in the living room watching tv we had Kat choose, she chose some Disney show. I can't remember what it was but Kat seemed to love it. Kat giggled at the show.(Y/N) seemed to get along with her well for only knowing her for five hours their getting along well. Kat was sitting on (y/n)'s lap while eating pizza and laughing at the tv. I took out my phone and took a picture of them. New lock screen I thought,"Dad where's Kat going to sleep?" (Y/n) asked I almost forgot about that.
"Umm she can share with you if that's fine until we set up her room." I said she nodded.~...~It got late and Kat was asleep on (y/n)'s lap I decided to take them up to bed. I picked up Kat and went upstairs and placed her in (y/n) bed I headed back downstairs and picked up (y/n). I went back upstairs and placed (y/n) into bed and placed the blankets over them. I looked at them how crazy that I have a family. I thought I always just thought it would me and (y/n) by ourselves. But then I met everyone and got to know Ryland and now we're in a relationship. I never thought I'd have a family.
~next morning~
Your p.o.v.
I woke up to Cheeto jumping on me and getting in between me and Kat. She's so tiny. I didn't think I had a sibling but things happen. I was probably in the orphanage around her age I don't remember a lot of my childhood. It kind of sucks, at least Kat gets to have a better childhood than me. Kat cuddled against Cheeto and sighed contently. I grabbed my phone from my dresser and decided to just look through things I decided to take a picture of Kat and Cheeto it was to adorable not to. Kat stirred in her sleep I looked over and saw her waking up. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and looked at me. She smiled and shyly waved, I smiled back at her. She started petting Cheeto who was still asleep,"Hey Kat." I said
"Hi." She replied,"Can we eat breakfast?" She asked I nodded.
"Of course." I threw the covers off and got out of bed, Kat looked at me and stretched out her arms. I picked her up and went downstairs we got to the kitchen and I had her pick out a cereal. I put her on the chair that was near the window I got her food ready and placed it in front of her. She started eating I decided to make myself some breakfast for myself. I sat next to Kat and put on YouTube in my phone for her and put on a kids show for her to watch while we were eating.~...~
Time passed and Dad and Ryland finally woke up and we decided to go shopping at Target for Kat. Dad wanted to buy her some toys so she could be entertained. We finally got there,I carried Kat as we walked inside we headed to the toys section. I placed Kat and let her go pick out her toys. She got a few dolls and other things, dad let me even get a few things while we were there. I of course got some cool Harry Potter stuff and some anime stuff. Dad even let us grab some snacks while we were there. I took a picture of Kat holding her new things she's so adorable. We headed to the checkout and bought our stuff. Kats pretty cool I'm just going to have to adjust having another member of the family.
