CHAPTER 49

(At New Zealand, January 16, 2015 – Jennie's birthday)

(It's been a week since Jennie got her surgery and thankfully she's awake now.)

Doctor Jane: Ms. Jennie? Can you hear me?
JK Hospital Vice Pres.: Ms. Jennie?
Jennie: Eodi?... Who are you?
JK Hospital Vice Pres.: I'm Jonathan Kim, the vice president of JK Hospital maam. Can't you recognize us?
Jennie: (Just nodded)
JK Hospital Vice Pres.: Okay, we'll go slowly maam. I am with Doctor Jane and right now, he is the one in charge your treatment. Maybe you are wondering now why we call you "maam", it's because you own this hospital maam...
Jennie: (Jennie can't seem to follow what the Vice Pres.is saying.) Who am I?
JK Hospital Vice Pres.: Can't you remember your name maam?
Jennie: Why are you calling me Ms. Jennie a while ago?
JK Hospital Vice Pres.: It's because you are Ms. Jennie Kim maam can't you remember?
Jennie: I'm sorry but why can't I remember my own name? (The Vice Pres. looked at Doctor Jane, asking for help)
Doctor Jane: Here's what happened maam. You got into an accident and unfortunately some veins are being damaged during the accident so you are currently having an amnesia....
Jennie: (she began to panic after hearing the word amnesia) am...amne...amnesia?
Doctor Jane: It's very hard but since you are very lucky maam, you only have a temporary amnesia, so all of your memories will come back soon. (The Vice Pres. send Doctor Jane that they should stop at the moment and call it a day because Jennie is beginning to panic and it may cause her more damage.)
JK Hospital Vice Pres.:Ms. Jennie, you need to calm down. We're going to excuse ourselves now so you should take a rest. And one more thing today is your 19th birthday maam. We are wishing you to be strong and just hang on it maam. We'll do our best to help you get back again. (With that they left Jennie to sort everything and to give her some time.)

(Jennie is starting to calm herself and starts to think what happened but she seems to run out of luck because no matter how hard she try she can't remember a single thing about her or around her. She has no idea what happened to her. And this is what makes her heart hurt. It feels like a big part of her life was stolen, ani, she feels like her whole life is stolen. Jennie just keeps on crying until she falls asleep. The executives, staffs and doctors of their hospital are very worried. They don't know how to explain everything to Jennie. Even their soon-to-be-manager just can't believe that those unfortunate events happened to Jennie. It's very hard for them to see Jennie going through all these type of pain in such a young age. They are more worried that she might not overcome it and ruin her dream so they really are putting their very best in everything they do just to help Jennie regain her memories, stand up again and pursue her dream.)
