CHAPTER 11

(January 16, 2013)

(After their own training, the squad is now at their favorite restaurant to celebrate Jennie's birthday. As they were eating, Jennie's mom called)
Jennie: Hello mom? How are you? (she get herself excused)
June: I forgot, Jennie unnie is very good in speaking English.
Song: Was that her mom?
Jisoo: Yes, Her mom is her only family left since she's an only child. Her daddy died when she was 5. That is why she's doing her best to be strong all the time, she once said to us that she's going to be strong to protect her mom in place of her dad. Her mom can't come in here because she is managing the hospital that Jennie's dad left for them. We are her family now right?
The boys: Of course, forever will.
(After hearing what Jisoo said, Hanbin just realized that there are so many things they don't know about each other ever since they started dating that is why he had an idea. After they eat, the boys walked the girls back to their dorm as usual. Hanbin and Jennie at the back)
Hanbin: Babe, I have something for you (brings out his songbook)
Jennie: What's this babe?
Hanbin: Birthday present for my very brave Jenjen.
(Jennie opened it and she was surprised to see Hanbin's songbook. She knows that Hanbin treasure this so much)
Jennie: Wait babe, this is your songbook, why are you giving this to me? I know that you treasure this with your life...(before she can finish her sentence, Hanbin cut in)
Hanbin: Sshhhh!!! Don't say anything babe, I am giving that to you because you were the one I thought when writing those songs.
Jennie: (She looked at the songs, it was entitled, TODAY and MY TYPE. She's been moved by Hanbin's effort) Thankyou so much babe (Hanbin bravely kissed Jennie's forehead)
Hanbin: Anything for you babe. (As they walked, Hanbin opens up about himself) Babe did you know that I haven't told you yet about my family and everything?
Jennie: (she stopped walking and realized the same goes for her) wait me too babe.
Hanbin: I'll start now babe, me and my family stayed at the US for 4 years and I came back here to pursue my dream when I was 7. I have a younger sister; she's turning 2 this year. I like writing songs, I like Mickey Mouse, I love Pringles especially the sour cream flavor, I love music and rapping babe. I think of you when I write songs.
Jennie: Thankyou babe, my turn, I don't have any sisters or brothers, my dad is in heaven now (as she said those, she lowers her head) my mom is in New Zealand right now. She's the only family I have, and of course you guys. (She started crying). I want to become an idol because I wanted mom and dad to be proud of me. I want to protect my mom, I can't imagine if I lose her too (Hanbin hugged her)
Hanbin: Don't worry babe, I'll be here, I'll protect you.
Jennie: Thankyou babe. As I was saying, I wanted to become an idol, I also love rapping. I like milk-flavored ice cream. Ah and I have motion sickness sometimes but I am overcoming it.
Hanbin: Thankyou babe for that. Don't worry I'll be here with you while mommy's away.
Jennie: (she joked) what do you mean? You won't be here with me when my mom is here?
Hanbin: That's not what I mean babe, what I'm saying is that I'll be with you forever, no matter what happen.
Jennie: (she'a laughing) I know babe, I'm just teasing you. I love you!
Hanbin: I love you more my love. Happy Birthday!!! (she then kissed Jennie before the girls went inside their dorm.)
