CHAPTER 58

(After coming back from their own homes, the boys decided to call the girls and hang out for the last time in the meantime.)

DK: (calling Chaeng) Chaeng? Anneong!
Chaeng: DK oppa?
DK: Yep. What are you girls doing?
Chaeng: Mmm just watching TV oppa. We don’t have training today. Why?
DK: We are just wondering if you wanna hang out tonight? With us?
Chaeng: Okay oppa. We don’t have anything to do anyway and we’re so bored anyways.
DK: Good to hear then. Gonna pick you up in 20 mins.
Chaeng: Okay oppa. Thankyou.

(After 30 minutes. The squad arrived at their favorite restaurant as usual.)

Jisoo: It’s been a while chingus!!!
Song: Yeah it’s been a while girls.
Bobby: How are you Jisoo-ya?
Lisa: Wait, are you only gonna ask Jisoo unnie that oppa? How about us? (teasing Bobby, probably the rest rides on)
June: Yeah, Bobby hyung why are you being like that?
DK: I smell something fishy!!
Song: So fishy!!!
Chan: Fishy!!!
BI: Should we get you guys a separate table now?
Jay: Animyeon, should we get you guys a room now?
Chaeng: A very expensive one unnie (All of them are laughing except for Bobby and Jisoo who are busy firing their laser eyes to everyone.)
Bobby/Jisoo: YAHH!! (Both of them spoke at the same time and that makes the squad laugh even louder.)
Song: And that is what you call destiny!! (With that they even laugh louder and louder. Bobby is giving Song the death glare.)

(After calming theirselves, they began eating and as usual their unending talks and jokes.)

Jay: Girls, we call you out tonight because we have a good news and bad news for you.
Lisa: What is it oppa?
Jay: Bad news? Good news?
Jisoo/ChaengLisa: Bad News/ Good News!!!
Jay: Okay I’ll go with good news first. We’re going to debut on the 15th of September this year.
Girls: Wow!! Jinja? Wow!! Congratulations oppa! IKON jjang!!
Jay: But the bad news is that, we think that we’re the reason why you’re debut was cancelled. I’m sorry to bring this up right now but it’s just doesn’t feel right. You gave way for us to debut. You should’ve debuted first but we feel like we’ve caused your debut cancelled. We are very sorry girls.
Girls: Oppa!!! Don’t say that. It’s not your fault. It’s nobody’s fault. It’s just that maybe it’s not yet the right time for us. And look, Jennie’s still recovering so we can’t debut yet and it is not your fault. What were you guys thinking? Ahhh you’re making us feel bad (the girls started tearing up.) Don’t think too much it’s not good for you guys. You should be jumping here and there right now cause like what you’ve just said, you’re going to debut next month, don’t say such absurd words okay?
Jay: It’s just doesn’t feel right….
Jisoo: Ehhey!! Stop talking things like that. It’s so absurd oppa!! It’s good that you’ve called us out right now cause we’re gonna celebrate all night okay? (To cheer up the mood) Everyone stand up please!!! Palli palli!! Everyone (gets a glass and raised it) I wanted to make a toast for our IKON because finally, they’re going to rock the world. Of course these 3 beautiful ladies, I mean 4, will be their no.2 fans just second before their parents and will be cheering for them whatever they do and wherever they go. And lastly, may these boys with us right now will stop thinking such absurd ideas and just let them know that we’re always here for them. CONGRATULATIONS IKON!!!!

(The boys are so overwhelmed by the girls’ effort and by their positiveness.)
