Ditching Kyle after school instead of taking the bus, Nada ran to the library. More like sprinted. She was breathless after the two blocks, and it took her a minute to explain to the librarian what she needed, since she was so winded.

Gretchen Yourik was printed on the little name tag on the front desk and Miss Yourik showed Nada to the aisle she wanted to find the book she needed.

Thanking Miss Yourik, she signed in to use a computer and pulled out a flash drive, setting her bag on the floor next to the computer desk, she pulled up word and opened the book. How to catch a killer.

Research took longer than she thought it would. Since there was no cell phone use permitted in the library, she couldn't even call her mom. So, instead, she stayed online, book in lap, until close. She signed out, making sure to remove the flashdrive as safely as one could pressing a button.

Among leaving the glass door, she pulled out her cell phone and pressed speed dial one- her mom.

"Nada, where have you been?"

"The library, mum. I need you to come get me."

"I will, and when I get you, you are so grounded."

"I know how to catch Sabine, mom. Just come get me."

She hung up quickly and Nada stayed where she was, by the parkinglot. To Catch A Killer was under her arm. She was ready to finish the book and get Sabine caught.

Mal showed up ten minutes later, obviously having sped most of the way there. Nada climbed in the front seat, then noticed Kyle was in the back seat.

Apologizing, Nada looked for Sabine.

"She's at Ashton's for the night. I'm not too worried about those two. There's something different about Sabine." Mal said quickly.

"She likes girls." Nada answered flatly. "She has for a while now. I knew it just by seeing her the first time. Anyway, I borrowed this book on How To Catch A Killer and I did research. We can bust Sabine and get our lives back."

"But, Nada," Kyle said slowly, resting his hand on her shoulder. "What will happen to her, do you think?"

"She'll stop screwing up my life." Nada replied shortly, then looked back at her mom, who was concentrated on staying at the speed limit this time. "So, the book says that first we should get the police involved, which we've already tried. She snapped his juggular. Next, we have to try to get the FBI or SWAT or whatever involved. They obviously don't realize she's a serial killer, but it should be obvious by now, since she has to same MO and everything, but obviously it's not that obvious. I don't want to die."

Mal nodded slowly. "Okay, so if we can't get the FBI involved, what should we do?"

"That's where the book comes in handy."

Mal nodded and Nada explained how they needed to search for bugs in the house.

"You know, like the little devices that are used to listen in on conversations?" Nada asked.  Mal nodded and she continued. "After we're done with that, I'm going to need a bobby pin and plenty of time." When Mal questioned why, Nada held up her hand. "Best if you didn't know mom. I believe that Sabine is hiding more than her stubborn face is telling us."

When they arrived home, Kyle and Mal got to looking for bugs, while Nada grabbed an old bobby pin from her room, creeping into Sabine's room, she was careful not to disturb anything except what she came in for.

--

Ashton slowly kissed up Sabine's neck, moving her blonde hair out of the trail of his lips. He was leaning over her, straddling her hips. As he moved over her jawline, she caught her lips on his, slowly moving her tongue in sync with his.

He pressed against her harder, lifting his head away from her's, marveling over her body clad in only a turqouise bra and matching frilly panties.

Sabine smiled up at her prey, slowly licking her lips. He was wearing a pair of boxers, but other than that nothing else. She felt his excitement agaist her area.

He twisted his right hand in her blonde locks, lightly tugging at her hair.

Sabine wrapped her arms lightly around his neck, pulling herself up to meet him. Their lips locked for a second, and she pulled away. He kissed back down her neckbracing himself against the bed with his left hand, he unhooked her bra with his right, sliding it away from her bosom.

She let it fall to the floor next to his bed on the pile with the rest of her clothes. "Ashton," She murmered. "You have one chance to change my mind about boys. One."

He nodded, leaning down to suck on her breast.

Damn, he's really dragging this out. She thought, before she got lost in the sensations of sex.

--

Nada had crushed several recording devices and thought she was finally done looking for them when she noticed fishingline moving from in front of the bed to the ceiling. She slowly stood and cut it, noticing that it fell in front of the drawer she was going after.

She untangled the bobby pin and slid it into the lock. It clicked open and pulled the drawer right out. There was a bug on the inside of the drawer and another in the drawer cubby. Both turned off, obviously. Thats what the wire was for: Pull the drawer, turn on the small bugs.

Sabine was good.

But Nada was learning quickly.
