Nada had actually slept laying next to Kyle. Given only a couple hours, but she had slept. Maybe her insomnia was going away? She doubted it, but she wouldn't mind it.
Kyle had shook her awake. He was down the hall now, getting Ashton. It was already six.
Nada got up and pulled on the robe she had brought. She needed a shower. Grabbing her bag, she walked into the bathroom and brushed her hair. Then, she started her shower.
She braided her hair and dressed in a tight black cami, with a white shirt on over it. Her jeans were bootcut, a dark blue. She slid on white socks. With that, she was ready for school.
Kyle came in and smiled. "Good morning, beautiful."
She smiled back at him and they hugged. She kissed his cheek, and his smile widened.
"I have to take a shower, too." He whispered. "Breakfast is on the table."
She laughed. "Okay."
Breakfast was pancakes and eggs. There was cereal on the side. Nada ate until she felt half full, then drank some orange juice.
Ashton came down the hall and into the kitchen, smiling at Nada as he took his seat.
Today, he would see his girl and it would be okay again. He wouldn't feel so broken up over Nada and everything. Then, he would know that Sabine isn't really crushing on Nada. He'd know that she's with him for a reason.
But what was that reason, really?
Kyle came down the hall and grabbed a pancake. They were cold now. He took a big bite out of one and smiled at Robin. Who was the only adult at home. Christian worked two jobs- really early, and really late.
Robin laughed, a really deep laugh, since he was a really big guy. "No syrup, son?"
"Plain pancakes are best." Kyle replied.
Nada smiled, then left to brush her teeth. She thought to herself as she brushed her teeth, how quickly the school day seemed to end and how her house was living hell.
She spit and packed her bag back up. Robin was going to drop her bag off at her house later today.
Kyle came into the room and wrapped his arms around Nada, kissing her neck.
"Silly, we need to get ready for school." Nada whispered.
Kyle kissed her neck again, and again. He just wanted things to slow down this morning so he could have Nada to himself.
She turned and wrapped her arms around his neck, looking into his beautiful eyes. "Now, what's all this for this morning?" She smiled.
"Uhm, I," He kissed her nose. "I just wanted to be with you a little," He kissed her forehead and cheek. "Before school is all."
She giggled, putting her hands on his chest and pushing him away. But he didn't really move. He was a pretty strong boy. Instead, all that force pushed her backwards and she landed on the bed.
He started laughing and sat next to her, taking her hand and looking at their old picture. "I've decided I'm going to blow up those other pictures later today, probably at lunch. I'll have them all up on the ceiling next time you come over. Along with others."
She smiled and agreed, it was a good idea. Rolling onto her stomach, she looked at the bed spread. Nada realized how long she and Kyle had been together- a month? Two? Quite a while. And it felt nice that he was being so awesome about it.
"It's not that hard to do things how you want, Nada. I'm okay with it, I just don't like to feel like strangers at school."
Nada laughed, grabbing her braid and tugging on it. School.

Sabine curled her hair and put on make up. She truly did look pretty today. Kind of like.... a princess? Whatever she was, she was only a liar, hiding secret after secret.
Too many murders. That was for sure. She was lesbian, and that was for sure determined. She kicked herself for not killing Ashton when she could. But there was something about him! Something.... something like what she had, she guessed. She really liked that boy. But not like a boyfriend, like he was. And she found it sad that in the end, she'd have to kill him. Just to get to the girl she wanted.
Isn't that kind of fucked up, Sabine? I mean, she's just a girl. Like Kyle would be just a boy. Nada would never kill for a boy. You know that. But, then again, who is Nada really? Even Nada isn't sure who she is, and that is obvious just looking at her!
Sabine sighed and put the curling iron down, looking at the nails she had painted blood red.
Tonight was the night. It had to be. There would be no more delaying if Sabine could help it.
No more delay at all.

The school always seemed more crowded during the morning, when everyone was walking to the cafeteria for breakfast or crowding around each other's lockers. It was also crowded with noise. Noise, noise, noise! Everyone was talking, and no teachers were around. Couples were kissing right there. Like Keighly and Noah, or Jacquiline and Terry. Even Caitlyn and her boyfriend of the week Brandon. She was wearing purple again, because it was her purple week.
The plastics had an odd way of running things. They were the populars, all perfect and prissy. There was Caitlyn Grand, the head plastic, and her followers, the girls that would flank her in the halls and do exactly as she did, Kitty and Zoe. Zoe was in blue this week, carefully straightening her hair. Kitty was in pink. And they patrolled the halls every day, as though they owned the school.
What made it worse was that they were in different grades. Caitlyn the senior, Kitty the junior, and Zoe the sophomore. Next year, Kitty would select a new sophomore. But there was the possibility that Zoe wouldn't even be a plastic, depending on how she looked next year. One could even get kicked out depending on who they dated!
But, Ashton didn't care about them. He was looking for Sabine, who, as far as he was concerned, should be a plastic. She was too beautiful not to be. But she never fully matched her outfits like they did. She'd never fit in.
He glanced around the halls again but didn't see her. He wanted to talk to her. He wanted out of the relationship. But he knew it couldn't be that easy. He knew that she killed. She'd kill him if he made the wrong move, right? Got in her pants and just left there for road kill. Not like he told anyone but Kyle, and he knew Kyle would keep it hush-hush.
"Are you looking for someone?"
Sabine's voice. He knew that. Ashton turned to see her, completely glammed up for the day at school. He had never seen her like this before, and definitely was surprised by it. But he was worried at the same time. Why was she dressed up so nice on just a regular school day?
"Wow, Sabine. What- wow!" He couldn't take his eyes off of her. She was so- wow! Hot, today especially.
"Well, I just did something different with my hair. and I put on more make up than usual." She smiled, taking his hand. "Now, I wanted to talk to you about something, Ashton. Alone, away from prying ears." Something crossed her face that said don't ask questions.
He agreed, of course, and let her lead him to a dark room.
--
Something was wrong. Both Kyle and Nada could feel it. Dangerously wrong. But what was it? Sabine, of course. It had to be! But what about Sabine?
"Something's wrong." Nada whispered, clinging to her boyfriend's hand.
"I know." He answered, leading her down the hall way.
