Sabine was getting really sick of Nada ignoring her demands. Blowing her off like it wasn't possible for her to get hurt! Anger fueled inside the blonde and she did not like holding it in. Last time, though, she had messed up with her Anger. This time, she wouldn't. She couldn't.

It amused her, Nada's attitude toward her. Sometimes she hated her, other times- she still hated her, but without such a passion. The words would confuse her, but she knew the sense it made. She knew what she could do. She remembered every other family she lived with, what they had done and what she had done in retaliation.

Her first family, the birth family, had consisted of a mother, a father, Sabine, and Ronald. When she was five, Sabine killed Ronald, then killed her mother and father to stay out of trouble. Police were still looking for the killer.

Nada came inside, Kyle behind her. They were both laughing.

"Where's Ashton?" Sabine asked nonchalantly. It was obvious that she cared about him- just by the look on her face, or the emotion in her eye.

Kayla and Sarah were no where to be seen.

"Where are Kayla and Sarah?"

"Answer my question." Sabine demanded.

Nada jutted out her jaw. "Answer mine."

"I don't know. I woke up and they were gone. Where's Ashton?"

"He cussed me out and went back to sleep." Nada answered.

She wasn't convinced with Sabine's response. Kayla and Sarah never just left. They always waited until the next morning.

Even so, Nada shrugged and walked over to the breakfast table, where pancakes sat there, steaming, butter and syrup next to them.

Kyle sat next to her, and Sabine sat across the table. "What did I tell you last night, Nada?"

"I'm not doing that, Sabine. I don't take kindly to threats like Sarah and Kayla do."

"I told you. You have to do as I say."

"You don't scare me, Sabine." Nada took a bite of pancake and swallowed a drink of her milk. Kyle gave her a funny look.

Are they talking about me?

Obviously, they were talking about something serious.

"You aren't taking over my life."

"I'll kill you to get my way, Nada."

Nada's mom turned from the stove. "Excuse me?"

Sabine blushed. "Figure of speech."

Mal nodded and turned off the stove, scooping the last two pancakes off the skillet and putting it onto her own plate. She walked to her bedroom, the one right off the livingroom.

After her mom was out of ear shot, Nada glared at Sabine. "You realize that you aren't getting away with anything here, whether you like it or not?" She shook her head. "Threats and stupidity won't get you anywhere in this house. I'm smarter than you, Sabine. I know what you're up to."

Sabine smiled. She'd just have to change her plan. "Then why don't you run?"

"There's no need to. There will never be a reason to be afraid of you." Nada sneered.

"That's," Sabine stood up and leaned over the table. Kyle looked away, towards the livingroom. "Is where you're wrong."

Terribly wrong.

Nada held her ground. "What did you do to Sarah and Kayla?"

"Nothing."

"What do you mean by 'nothing'? Do you mean nothing as in actually nothing or-"
