In the middle of recording a got a text.

Val ❤️: I took a walk to the park. Be back in a few.

I didn't bother to text back, I figured would know I read it. About 45 minutes later, Val isn't back yet, so I decide to go try and find her.

"I'll be back in a few. Going to meet Val at the park." I said waving everyone goodbye.

"Alright. Be safe." Geoff said.

I walked off, hearing sirens coming my way. I started to run towards the park, stopping when I saw Valerie got hit by a truck. I ran up to her, and started to ball my eyes out. I quickly texted Geoff to bring me to the hospital, seeing they wouldn't let me go into the ambulance.

"HURRY THE BLOODY HELL UP GEOFF!" I screamed.

"IM GOING AS FAST AS I CAN GAVIN! SHE'LL BE FINE!" Geoff yelled.

I didn't say another word will we got there.

"Valerie Jones." I said.

"Room 210. Gavin Free, her boyfriend, and Geoff Ramsey, her co-worker, correct?" the nurse asked.

"Mhm. Thanks." Geoff said, speeding to the elevator.

I ran down the hallway, barge into her room, and saw all her bruises, scratches, and her leg in a cast. I ran up beside her, grab her hand, crying softly.

"Valerie, please, wake up. Don't leave me like this. I'll never let you go, Valerie. Please, just wake up." I said softly into her ear.

Valerie's eyes flickered open, and she saw me crying.

"Why you crying love?" Val said, mocking my accent.

"VALERIE! DOCTOR! SHE'S AWAKE!" I screamed down the hallway.

The doctors came rushing down the hallway, pushing me out of the way.

"How are you feeling? Are you still hurting?" the doctor asked.

"I feel like, excuse my language, shit. And yes, my leg still hurts." Valerie said, rolling her eyes.

"Well, we can't release you for 2-3 days." the doctor said. "You'll be allowed 1 guest, no more."

"You don't mind staying with me Gav, do you?" Val asked, smiling.

"Of course not love." I replied, holding her hand. "You won't mind will you Geoff? I mean, I won't be working for a couple of days, but neither will Val, so you don't, right?"

"Nah. We can survive a couple if days with just the three of us." Geoff said, walking out of the room. "Have fun!"

"Right. Now, Mr. Free, make sure she eats regularly, takes her medicine twice a day, and only drinks water. If you need anything, just call for us." the doctor said walking out as well.

"Soooo, two days in the hospital. Fun." Val said, turning on the television. "GAV! ITS NOODLE AND DOODLE!"

"Wot?" I asked, turning my head to the television. "Oh. NOODLE AND DOODLE!"

We both laughed, and spent the rest of the day watching kiddie shows, laughing, and sleeping.

"Mr. Free. I need to take my medicine. And eat." Val said as formally as she could.

"Ok, Ms. Jones. Eat, and take your medicine. I can't really do anything to help you digest it." I said, laughing.

I sat back down, turned on the television, and checked my phone.
