Chapter Six

Chapter Six: || Teo

I tried texting Mary a couple of times, but she would say an excuse saying she can't text me.

She's interesting and since she's playing hard to get makes me want to chase her even more. I finally decided to text her for the billionth time. She replied and we talked for hours. When I would ask her a question about herself she would answer a simple answer and change the subject. What's wrong with her? Does she not like me? The first time we talked and met we talked like we known each other for years, now she treats me like a complete stranger. It makes me sad, she's oblivious to my feelings towards her. Yea I do like her, not much though because I barely know her. Ugh it's frustrating.

"Open up to me?" I asked her through text. She didn't reply, she only seen the text and never replied back to me. I messed it up.

Seriously why can't Teo just take a hint. I don't want to be in a deep friendship with him. After the movie is over we're going to go back to strangers. So why even be that close to him. I heard my cellphone ringing and I hope it's not Teo, because I'm not picking up. Thankfully it's not, it's my best friend Erika calling me.

"Hey" I said picking up.

"What are you doing today?" She asked.

"Nothing staying home I guess. Why? You wanna hang out today?" I said.

"Yes, I haven't seen you since you started filming that movie"

"Alright, how does a movie and shopping sound?" I asked her.

"Sounds great. My mom will pick you up at one." She said and I looked at the clock. 12:05pm.

"Okay cool. One hour for me to get dressed. Bye love you."

"Love you too bye" we hanged up and I took a shower and got dressed. I put on a white tank top with high waisted shorts with white converse and I put on some makeup. 12:55 the clock said. I went downstairs and got a snack to take with me.

"Mom Erika and her mom is on her way here to pick me up." I said.

"Yea I know, Erika's mom called me to ask if you can go. Have fun okay." She said. I nodded and waited on the couch for Erika.

My dad died when I was ten years old. And it just has been me, my little sister Charlie and my mom. I was also bullied in school, I only had one friend which was Erika. I had another friend, I told her everything. But then she turned against me, and she moved away to Florida. I was alone, I didn't have any friends. And most of the things I told her spread around school. So for eight grade I moved to another school, that's where I met Erika. I turned shy, and I barely talk to anyone. I had trust issues. Which is way I don't want to get to close with Teo.

Anyway there was a honk outside and Erika is here. I said goodbye to my mom and get in the car. Me and Erika spent the whole day together, we went shopping. I got some new clothes. We went out to eat and saw a movie. We had a great time. But tomorrow is Monday and I have to go back to work, and Teo will be there. It's going to a long day.
