Chapter Eight

Chapter Eight: || Mary

My phone dinged, a message from Teo.. Again. He doesn't leave me alone. Doesn't he understand that I need to think about what just happened yesterday.

"Mary I know you like me too. Why can't you just admit it?"

Why does Teo think I like him. I don't, right. He's just an attractive young boy. I was still on my laptop watching Netflix. 5 minutes later he texted me again.

"You know trying to ignore me, or pushing me away won't make me lessen my feelings towards you. Yes i did turn into Agustus Water right now."

I start to smile and blush after I read his message, knowing how Hazel Grace felt when Gus told her those sweet words. No no don't think about that Mary!! Charlie then snatched my phone away and ran with it.
"Mom Mary has a boyfriend!!" Charlie yelled and giggled and showed my mom the phone. I chased after her, but my mom was in the kitchen reading the text he sent me.
"Who's Teo?" My mom asked.
"Her boyfriend-" Charlie said but I quickly spoke.
"No it's not shut up Charlie." I said. Charlie can be a brat even though she's six.
"He seems nice. Is he cute?" My mom asked. I was going to answer her but Charlie butted in again.
"Or nah" she said and laughed. She watches too much vine, or did she get that from me?
"Mom ugh. He's ugly and annoying and I don't like him." I said snatching my phone from my mom. Of course I don't think he's ugly, but I'm not sure if I like him.
"Well according to him, your head over heels." She said.
"Mom you know very well I barely own a pair of heels." I said to her rolling my eyes. My mom just gave me that look, she always does when she knows she's right. She walks off to the living room.
"Your evil." I say to Charlie.
"Mommy Mary said I was evil!!" Charlie yelled.
"Mary don't say that! Charlie your a princess!" My mom yelled from the living room.
"I did not mom!" I yelled back. Charlie had a smirk on her face. I went to my room and put my phone down and kept watching netflix until it was time for bed.
