Kyra Trey is a teenage aspiring writer who became deaf when she was an infant. Kyra's love and talent writing gets her transfered to the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco, where she meets and befriends Anna Jenkins, a bubbly ballerina and Shane Hart, an aspiring singer/songwriter with a rebellious personality. Together, the trio help each other overcome their hardships together and form a beautiful strong bond.
