Minho's P.O.V.
My competition was around the corner. My first competition ever.. As a swimmer.. Part of a team.
I thought I should have a quick swim in the morning to freshen up so I changed in the changing room into my swimsuit and got in the lukewarm water. More on the cold side than the warm side, but it surely made me fully awake.
I slowly swum taking in the faint smell of chlorine in the air. It felt so great. It was so freeing, so relaxing."Minho? What are you doing here kiddo?" I faintly heard.
Looking up, I saw my coach."Oh. Hi sir."
"Up early?" He commented.
"Yup." I smiled.
He crouched down."A little nervous aren't you?" Seeing my reaction, he went on." It's normal for you to be nervous, but don't worry. You are raw talent."
"I'm glad to hear that sir.." Something else was on my mind.
"The nurse showed me your medical file." He started right in the sore spot.
I looked down. I wanted to sink down at the bottom of the pool and never come back up."What about it?"
He had a reassuring smile."I don't like that you didn't tell me about it first hand, but I think we can make this work out for you so you don't get sick.. Or at least not too often because knowing you, you won't stop even if you get sick from time to time. As long as you promise me you'll go to the doctor's appointment the nurse will give you."
Was he serious? No scolding? And I get to see a doctor? "Deal accepted sir! Thank you so much!"
"No trouble kid. Now get out of that water and get some proper rest before this evening. Eat well too." He asked waving me out of the place.
I promised I would and got back to the dorm.

.
"Excited aren't you?" Eunho laughed."Stop laughing! I hope everything will be alright." I paced around the dorm.
"Calm down and let's go." She threw my coat at me.
"O-okay.." I walked out with her following at my heels.
Namjoon's P.O.V.
I was seated on the benches of the public pool of Hongdae watching out for a girl in a white swimsuit.
I told Yoongi I was busy. I had to lie. I couldn't tell him I was gonna go see his best friend swimming!Oh! There she was!
She saw me! I waved at her and she shyly waved back. I mouthed a small 'you'll do great' and ahe nodded. She prepared herself on her mark."Minho really looks good in that swimsuit." Jackson commented.
I laughed."Don't ever say that in front of Yoongi or he'll rip your throat."
"Yeah. You should do like Moonie." Eunho started."Think, but don't tell."
"Hey-" I started complaining, but the competition was about to start.
She dove in the water barely without a slash and swum with all her might. We yelled. We screamed. We cheered. When she was done, she looked up only to see her teammate by her side. She took off her goggles and swimming cap and hit the water with her hands in a strong cheer. Sure second place wasn't what she had hoped for, but for a first time she was happy. Besides, the victory was still for our school.
She told me she had 2 other races. The 100m and the relay. The relay was an easy win enough with the 2 fastest girls in the relay team we won fast. I was just worried for the 100m. She seemed a lot paler. Just hang on Minho.. You can do it.
She readied herself and dove at the signal. Swum, flipped swum more. Once touching the edge of the pool she didn't look up. She didn't care that she was first, because she was. She only focused on her breathing. Her coach got to her line and gave her something to drink. Pretty sure it was high in sugar and vitamins, just enough to boost her up to get out of that pool, get changed, and go home.We waited for her at the exit. When she didn't get out, Eunho went to check. She came back with her both a smile on their faces.
"Sorry! Coach gave us a pep talk. I hope I didn't worry anyone." Minho apologized
I looked at her and made a thumbs up and a thumbs down.
She smiled giving me a thumbs up.
I was glad she found a way to do it without being sick. With the help of her coach and team, she was in good hands.
