Minho's P.O.V.
"Didn't have too much trouble with the train?" My mother asked hugging me.

I smiled. "I'm fine mom."

She sighed. "I'm still mad about these crutches.. I can't believe this happened."

I laughed. "They won't stay long. I don't mind."

She picked up my bag. "How did you carry this? It's so heavy!"

I made my way towards the car. "I got help from Yoongi and Joonie. They got me help at the station too."

She seemed enchanted. "You have good friends baby."

I was glad she thought so. "Thank you."

She opened the back door of the car for me. "You're very welcome." She grabbed my face and kissed my cheek. "I love you so much my little girl!"

I chuckled. "I love you too.. Why are you so happy?"

Wonhae who was seating in the driver's seat laughed. "You finding out the truth turned out to be more of a relief than she thought."

I could understand why. "Will you tell me all about them?"

He nodded. "Of course. Let's start with tea, then we'll see."

And as promised, we looked at the pictures together, but first.. "Baby come here."

"What is it?" I saw an old book. "What's that? Looks like.. Tea recipes. It's your book?"

She denied. "It's not my handwriting. It's your mother's."

I looked. "There's chinese.. Then old Korean, then Hangul? How old is this?"

She smiled. "I think I can say it is over a hundred years old for sure."

I was surprised. "Oh, really?! It looks even older than that."
Something came to my mind. "Wait.. Didn't only royalty know how to read or write.. Let's say 200 years ago from how the book looks?"

Wonhae sat on the counter. "You're right. You should be a detective with your deduction skills."

I sat down. "I don't get it."

Ara put tea on the table. "Well.. It goes far back into your mother's history with the second ruler of the Joseon era actually. They had sons, many sons, but this cycle broke with your great grandmother as they only had girls. Her father sent her to marry a Japanese emperor which she did and had your grand mother that came back in Korea and settled away from people who hated the dynasty here in Daegu. It roughly goes like this. Your mother probably left letters and letters about it." She grinned. "She was always a bit of a princess and when she told me where her family came from I got why."

It was a crazy story. "So I'm part Japanese?"

She nodded. "You are. Your mother's father was Japanese too, so she was 75% Japanese."

I frowned. "She looks pretty Korean to me."

Wonhae laughed. "Doesn't mean she isn't if she doesn't look like it."

I smiled. "What about my dad? You're from Seoul so your family are CEO's or something?"

He held back a chuckle. "Far from it. We are a bit further in history for royals because it got mixed up, but it's close enough. The Joo family wrote for the Emperor of Baekje like your teacher said, but it didn't mean we were less of warriors. I got the aristocratic part. Not my hyung. He would've made a good warrior."

Ara squeezed his hand. "He was a good police man."

He glanced down. "He was."

Wait.. So I was like.. A princess? That was so awesome! "That's why we have so many hanboks? They're hers aren't they?"

"Can't hide anything from you. I'll even show you a picture of her in one." She mingled in the box. "Ah.. Here. Pretty isn't she?" She bumped Won's shoulder. "Your brother was pretty handsome too."

These were my parents

These were my parents.. The more I learned about them, the more I was proud to be their daughter.

I picked another picture. "What is this? You guys look great!"

Ara was so flustered. "Joo Minho give this back right now! We were young! Let us be!"

I let her keep it. "You guys met in high school.. How old were you?"

Wonhae smiled. "She and I were sixteen. My hyung and her friend were a year older."

"What? Really?" I thought of something. "You still didn't tell me their names."

"Joo Yongsun is your father's name. Fun fact, it was also the name of a nobleman of Silla." He happily said his brother's name for the first time in years.

"And your mother's name is Yamato Jiso. Jiso was also the name of King Jinheung's mother who is a very far relative of yours actually." She explained.

This was a lot for me. "Joo Yongsun and Yamato Jiso.. Are their graves here? Do I have other family? Do I-"

"Easy there baby.." My mother stopped me. "It's a lot in one evening. For all of us so why don't we start making dinner and watch a nice movie? We can continue the discussion another time."

I looked at my feet. "Sorry.. I know it's hard for you. I'm just curious about them."

She lifted my head up and kissed my forehead. "I'd do the same thing." She glanced at the fridge. "I have everything to make spicy cold noodles. Want me to make that?"

I grinned. "You know it's my favorite dish."

She laughed. "Also one of thw rare things I don't burn. I'll do that for you."

I had such a nice mom.. I trully had been lucky. I felr guilty for being such a shitty teen, but it was like she had forgiven me for every stupid things I had done. Thanks mom..
