Minho's P.O.V.
I woke up on someone's knee. When I glanced up I eased down seeing it wasn't Yoongi. I wasn't feeling to bad except a bit dizzy. I felt his hand holding mine so I gave it a small squeeze. His eyes went to my face and he smiled. "You're awake? I'm so happy that you are. You have no idea. Five more minutes and I was calling the paramedics."I gave him my best grin. "I'm glad you found me.."
He laughed. "No kidding. Your family is worried sick about you."
I sighed. Right.. My family. "They aren't my family.."
He tried to understand the situation. "What happened for you to reject them like that?"
I would have loved to explain, but my throat felt tight. "If you.. Have water, I'd take that first please.."
He opened a bottle of juice. "Here, drink up. Wonhae said you'd need it."
I did, but my arm hurt so much. I understood why when I saw a bandage on it. "You did that? How badly did I hurt myself."
He looked at me. "Uhmm.. Let's say you won't walk back home."
From the pain.. "I figured."
He frowned. "How bad does it hurt?"
I clenched my teeth. "I can deal with it.."
He sighed. "I should take you home."
I stopped him from getting up. "Please don't.. I can't deal with them right now.."
He insisted. "Why? Tell me."
I moved my head. "Look into my bag."
Namjoon's P.O.V.
I looked into it."Oh my goodness, she looks like you!" I pointed out.
She sighed. "More like I look like her. Look at the date."
My eyes went wide. "We weren't even born." I understood. "Is she..?"
"My mother? Biological mother? Probably.. I stormed out when I saw these." She explained.
I nodded. "I can understand that.. How about we move somewhere else? You could get more comfortable."
It didn't sound like a bad idea to her. "Sure, but I can't walk."
I smiled. "Just sit up and put that bag on your shoulders." Once she did I crouched down. "Hop on my back. I'll carry you. You're light anyway."
She hesitated, but ended up wrapping her arms around my neck. "Got it.. Just don't hurt your back Joonie."
I chuckled. "Worried about me? I'm strong. No worries."
She held tight once I got up. "Where are we going?"
I smiled. "Where we usually sit down."
"That pretty tree? I love that tree.." She said laying her head on my shoulder.
I took us there. "I know you do." I sat her down and sat behind her letting her lean against me. "Fine with you? It's comfy enough?"
She snuggled up. "Oh it's comfy alright."
I played with her hair. "Don't you think you were too hard on them? Running like that."
She agreed. "I was, but I didn't think. I just yelled and stormed out. Yoongi lied to me. He knew."
I nodded. "Doesn't surprise me. Your mother probably asked him to stay silent on the matter."
She sighed. "There's a letter in there too. I didn't open it yet. It has my name on it."
I took it out of her bag. "Want me to read it?"
She hesitated. "Not now.. Maybe later.."
Should I ask now? "Hey.. It may not be a good time, but can I ask you something?"
She glanced up. "Sure, what is it?"
Here it went.. "I like you and it's kind of pointless because I know you could do a lot better than me. I don't mean this in a self-pity kind of way. It's just the truth and I know that it won't go anywhere, but I can't help holding onto the hope that possibly, maybe there is a chance you could maybe.. Like me too-"
Her lips were on mine. What was happening? She chuckled pulling back. "You should see the look on your face."
"Does that mean you like me too?" I asked.
She smiled. "Need another clue?"
I nodded and she kissed me again. This time, I savoured it. I've been waiting to ask for months being scared she'd say no. "You're sure it's not because of your medicine that you're doing that? You're getting warm." I pointed out touching her forehead.
She shook her head no. "I have to say, you're a better kisser than I thought."
I laughed. "Really? You thought I was that bad? Come on." I glanced down at her. "We should really take you home. I don't like letting your wounds improperly treated."
She gave up on her plan of staying here forever. "Fine.."
I did like before. "Hop on the boyfriend bus?"
"Idiot.."
It was funny to carry her at first, but I worried when I felt sweat that wasn't mine against my neck. "Minho, you're getting feverish aren't you?"
She mumbled half asleep. "Maybe.. Just a little.."
"Then hold on, we're almost here okay?" I pleaded.
She nodded. "Thank you.. For everything really."
I smiled. "No problem..."
When I finally arrived, they were all relieved to see her home. "Is she okay?" Hyung peeked at her face. "Fuck, I'm never gonna forgive myself for this."
Wonhae saw me. "Great, you're here."
I kept glancing at her face on my shoulder. "I'm worried, she started getting warm.. I convinced her to come back, but.."
Wonhae was rather calm. "We'll make feel better. Let's lay her down."
I put her on her new bed that she probably hadn't tried yet. "I'm not a doctor so I tried to clean where she was hurt, but I'm not sure if it's okay."
He nodded. "It's more than okay, don't worry." He looked at her left foot. "You never run, but once you do you fall. That doesn't look too bad, but it's not good either.. It must hurt a lot." He smiled at her. "I'll fix that Minho. No worries."
I had to ask. "Why are you so calm about this? She doesn't look good at all."
He sighed taking out his aid kit. "I had to do this a lot when she was a kid. I have to say, I was a bit worried about letting you do that treatment to her because when she was a child, she had to be hospitalized."
My eyes went wide. "You're kidding.."
He denied. "I wish I was. At least I knew what to do for her."
I frowned. "What do you mean?"
"Her mother was the same."
