Namjoon's P.O.V.
Everyone was off to practice while I said I was sick and would write. Actually, I took the subway to the area of Hongdae I knew too well. I looked in the window of the pool. She was wearing her new pink swimsuit, swimming against the others. After fifteen minutes of watching, I could see how tired she grew. She layed her head on the border of the pool to ease down a little. Her eyes met mine. She still happily waved at me and got out of the pool when her strength came back. She was giving her 110% to this. Her finals were coming up. She wanted her team to bring back medals. Once the coach called practice off, she took her towel and motioned she'd be back in a minute.I greeted her once she got out. "Hey Minmin."
She grinned softly. "Hey Joonie."
"Not too tired? Want to go eat out first?" I proposed.
"Kinda have a headache.. Might be a good idea." She accepted. "I need to dry my hair and get changed. We can eat at my dorm instead."
I nodded. "Yeah, sounds good." I have to say, I was a little worried. "We can do this another time. You have work tonight."
She stopped dead in her tracks. "No! I mean.. I want to do this today. I barely saw you this month." She took her keys out. "I just need food."
I laughed. "That's what you always say."
She chuckled. "Just get in will you?"

I dressed in something comfy to go to his studio. I didn't know how cold or warm it would be."An old shirt of Suga hyung?" He asked.
Honestly, it wasn't hard to get. "75% of my clothes are from him." I said half serious.
"Grab a vest too, it's pretty chilly there." He gave me his advice.
I smiled grabbing one and bringing a couple of snacks in my backpack. "Right, I'm good to go!"
He and I shared music on our way to the studio. We had similar taste in music which was surprising to both of us.
I have to say, I was pretty lost trying to get to Gangnam. I always followed him or my phone. Without any, I'd be lost. "Here we are!" He showed me the room. "It's pretty small and there's only one chair, but I think we're smart enough to figure it out."I chuckled. "Right, tell me how this works and coach me."
He seemed confused trying to figure out the seating. "Well.." He scratched his nape. "I'll stay up-"
"I don't mind sitting somewhere else..." I answered.
"Are you serious?" He said pretty surprised.
I was laughing so hard. "It's just because of restricted amount of space."
"Right." He opened his arms. "Tell me if it's uncomfortable."
I sat on his lap and checked the three screens. "So.. You have one with the lyrics, one with the melody and the other one is to record right?"
He kept his arm around my waist so I wouldn't slide off. "Look at you being smart." He joked.
I slapped his hand. "Ya.. Yoongi has something like this too. We used to write together."
He nodded. "That's what he told me." He pointed at the screen. "So you know the syllables are connected to the melody written there? Want to do a test run?"

Her grin was so wide as she jumped up. "Of course I do! Tell me what to do."I got up and put a headset on her head and ajusted it to her. "I'm gonna put this so you can focus on the song, the lyrics are in front of you and you sing in the microphone there. The round piece in front is to-"
"So stop any stray noise in." She completed.
I smiled. "That's exactly it. Let's get to it then."
Of course, she didn't get it right the first time. No one did. It was a normal thing. "I'm too fast? To low?"
The best way I could show her was by doing it myself. "A little too fast. See, I'd like if you'd do it more like this." I mumbled the lyrics. She grinned at me. "What?"
"Why are you so shy for singing? I'm sure you're good." She answered.
I let out a giggle. "I'll stick to rapping. Try it out now."
It was a lot better. We managed to do half of it before she had to go to work. Her voice was a wonderful instrument. It would be a shame to let it sit without further training. "They made the wrong choice."She frowned. "What are you babbling about?"
I spoke up. "They made the wrong choice not taking you in."
She let out a shy smile. "Thanks, but I think I prefer doing this with you than force myself into something I might not enjoy as much."
Did she just? "Is that a subtle of saying you liked doing this?"
"You're smart, figure it out. Bye~" She left my studio just like that.
Minho, you'll be the death of me one day.
