Minho's P.O.V
Eunho's blanket worked. I managed to sleep pretty well, but before I went to Yoongi's, I went to a place I went to every weekend."Ah! Isn't that my little granddaughter!" My grandpa waved me to pass on the other side of the counter.
Compared to Yoongi, I had family in Seoul. My grandfather, well..Ara's dad.
I could tell him anything without him judging or telling me off to Ara.
He held a bakery about 3 streets away from school.I followed him in the backstore."So, what brings my little girl so early in the morning? Here to give me a talk about that amazing competition you did?"
I smiled."Not this time, but it's related."
"What is it? Ara is making a scene about it? I'll talk to her. She cannot not listen to me." He winked."She loves me."
I laughed."I don't think Yoongi told her yet, but I could get help with that."
"Then consider it done sweetheart." He pat my shoulder."Anything else? Wanna take some freshly done bread with you?"
That was so like him. I didn't have to tell everything for him to know and he'd offer me some food."If you don't mind me taking some."
He waved me by the oven."Take some! Take how much you want, I make hundreds a day. Even take a bite right now! I'm pretty sure you didn't eat breakfast yet. Eat up!"
I picked two round breads and a slice of an already cut one. I went to the fridge for the jam and helped myself.
He laughed when I stuffed the slice in my mouth."You look just like your mother when you do that!"
I looked up confused."Ara does that? I didn't know."
He awkwardly cleared his throat."Yes.. She used to as a teenager. Come on. You have some talk to do. Come give grandpa a hug!" He opened his arms and held me tight."Never grow old sweetheart.."
I chuckled."I can't promise anything, but I'll try." I kissed his cheek and left. Time to face Yoongi again. I hoped it would go well.
Yoongi's P.O.V
I heard a knock on the door. I knew it was her. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
She was standing there, an oversized wool shirt I had offered her some time ago with black jeans was what she was wearing. Some clothes I gave her because they became too small for me. She didn't mind the second handed clothes as long as they looked good. She had a soft expression behind her round glasses. Small dark circles dressed her undereyes showing her sleep hadn't been restful."Can I come in?"I came back to my senses."Yeah, come in. Namjoon is not here, if being alone with me is a problem.. I could call Jackson so you don't feel-"
She cut in."Relax.. I'm fine. I trust you won't hurt me."
She trusted me? After I pulled on her wrists? After I made her cry? That's always how things happened, but I didn't get how she could forgive so many times."Sorry. I was furious last night. I didn't know what I was doing."
She held my hand and said a simple."I know." That she followed with a "hear me out alright?" I nodded and she started."I know that you don't like me doing this, but did I ever get sick in the water? When we played together? No."
"But we didn't care about the chrono and-"She didn't let me finish.
"I'm surrounded by a team, a coach, the school nurse, and I had an appointment with a doctor to make sure I was okay." She explained.
"What did he say?" I said the worry surely showing in my voice.
She sighed, looked at me, and went on."Just rasing my dose to 15ml and to take 2 iron supplements, one in the morning and one at night."
That seemed fair."But why did you hide it from me? We tell eachother everything."
She let out a pity laugh."Anything and everything Yoongi? Really? Then why have you been hiding the fact that you actually are a trainee now, not auditioning."
Straight to the heart."You know why I didn't tell you. Because you-"
"No Yoongi. I do not know. It's not because I didn't get picked to be a trainee because of my sickness, that I would be mad and jealous about you!" She crossed her arms and turned her gaze away from me. "Hell! I would've hugged you! I would've been freaking happy for you! Not using that to make my point."
I sat closer to her. "Minho.." She didn't budge. Why did it hurt her so much? I just cared for her health. I just cared for her well-being..so much.. I liked her.. Hell, it wasn't just that. Maybe if I truly loved her, I should give her a chance to try further. I cleared my throat."Are you happy? About swimming, do you like it?"
She smiled looking out the window."I love it. I really do."
I nodded."Then I won't stop you."
She jumped."Really?" She hugged me."Thank you thank you thank you!"
I froze for an instant."For now. I won't stop you until you get sick. Once that happens, you get out of the there."
She sulked for a moment."We'll see about that.."
"Minho." I groaned lightly.
She sighed."Okay.. Okay."
I hugged her tighter than she was sinking into the sent of her freshly washed hair."Don't worry me like that.. Ever."
She relaxed in my embrace."I'll try."
I smiled."Good enough. Not mad anymore?"
She smiled back."Not mad anymore.."
I kissed the top of her forehead and let her go."Did you know Namjoon was a trainee too? He's the leader of our band actually."
She chuckled."I know, Suga."
"Who the hell told you my stage name?" I asked confused.
"I heard Namjoon call you that over the phone last time." She admitted.
"Dammit. Well it's still better than Rap Monster." I defended myself.
"Both are not bad. I like your stage names." She smiled getting up. "Now if you don't mind, I have somewhere to go to soon so I should get going."
"Will you eat with me tonight?" I tried.
"Sorry, but I'm eating out tonight." She apologized."Have a nice day."
Who was she eating out with? Surely Eunho. She liked to show Minie around the city."Have fun."
