School went so well with her around, we were already in December and she slept at the dorm a couple of times, but this time was a little different. "Aish.. I don't want to wake up anyone. Ah.. I'm so embarrassed.. What do I do? Aigo.."I cracked open the door to see her pace from the bathroom to our couch. She was so adorable. I closed the door behind me. "Hey.. What's the matter Minmin?"
Her eyes met mine. She sighed and walked up to me. "Aish.. Why is it always you who's up first huh?"
I bent down to meet her eyes. "Got a problem with that? I can go back to bed-" I tried to leave. The real reason I was up is that it was because she was here. Everytime, I'd make sure she was asleep and was okay. Making sure she wasn't worrying about Yoongi hyung.
She grabbed my shirt. "Ya! How dare you leave your noona upset.."
I smiled to myself and turned around. "Then what does Minmin want?"
She glanced down. "I'd like to take a shower.. But I don't know how it works and the door can't lock well.." She scratched her head. "My hair's a mess and I smell like chlorine.."
I pat her head. "I didn't notice. I'm with you so often I'm used to the smell."
She laughed moving my hand away. "Ya.. Don't say things like that or the guys will think you're flirting with me."
How I wish I could be good enough to do so. "I'll keep watch for you. I'll even show you how it works."
She smiled. "Really?"
I chuckled. "Hey, you're off to catch a flight for Japan. I'm not gonna let you go feeling uneasy."

Japan.. My first competition out of Korea, on a larger scale. I was selected with other girls.. Some way older than me, to attend qualifications for a Pan-Asian swimming competition. I was thrilled, but goodness was I nervous. I wish he could come with me. "Since I can't go with you to Japan, the least I can do is let you take a warm shower."I couldn't believe I did this, I moved closer to him, stepped on my tiptoes and left a peck on his cheek. "Thanks a lot Joon-ah."
He touched the spot a second. "No problem.. Get yourself a change of clothes Minmin."
I warned him. "I won't do this again if you call me noona."
He looked down apologetically. "I promise."
I slapped his chest. "Stop acting like a sad pup! Minho needs a good shower."
He showed me how it worked. "So you turn to the left to get hot water.. You can ajust the strenght of the shower head by moving the pin." I moved closer. "Got it?"
I grinned. "Got it. Think I'll be comfortable with this on the plane?" I showed him my shirt and sweatpants.
He nodded. "Sure. I'll give you a towel and you'll be good to go."
And he did! I was good to take a shower. It wasn't burning hot so it was good enough. I knocked on the door for an instant. "Joonie?"
He answered. "Yeah? Need anything?"
I smiled. "Just checking! I'll step in." I stripped and took my shower. Looking at what the shampoos were, I grinned. Most of them were scented, but there was one without a name on it that said it didn't hold any perfume. "Did they get that in case I'd end up taking a shower here? That's sweet.."

"Why aren't you going hyung? Just take her to the airport." I said as Yoongi passed by.He sighed. "I don't want to. Jin hyung is going."
"But she'd be happy if you came with her." I added.
He brushed it off. "She'll be fine. I don't need to step outside."
"Like you did all week? Hyung, do you think I can hide your condition from her any longer? She doesn't come here to see me. She sees me 5 days a week. She comes here to see you. She knows you don't feel right." I argued.
"Just shut it will you? I can do whatever I want. You're not my dad." He spat.
"But I do care more about you than he does do I not? So does she so at least go back to school before your social anxiety gets so high you won't want to see her. You'll fail your classes if you miss any others." I pointed out.
I deserved the slap on the face. "You're an ass. What kind of leader are you? I would've been better solo like PD-nim said the first time I spoke to him."
I clenched my teeth. "He put you in Bangtan because Bangtan needs you and that you need us. He had a reason and I trust him."
He was inches from my face. "Maybe it's you who should go solo. I'll stay in my room. Tell her I'm sick."
I swear.. I heard the water turn off. Seconds later, the door opened. "Did I hear an argument? I thought I heard Yoongi yell."
I reassured her. "It was nothing really. Is there anything you need before hyung drops you at the airport?"
She dried her hair with a towel. "Two things.. One, who bought the unscented shampoo and two, if my mother worries about my wellbeing.. Can you tell her I'm just fine? I won't be able to use my phone so.. I don't want her to freak out."
I nodded picking up her bag. "I promise I'll reassure her and Jin hyung bought it because I asked him to while we were in class."
She chuckled. "That's what I thought."
"How long will you be gone? We'll miss you. " I'd miss her.
She sighed. "Depending on how good I am.. Maximum two weeks."
"But that means you'll spend Christmas and New Year in Japan." I added.
She glanced down. "I know.. But it's worth it you know? It's my chance to show what I can do."
I smiled. "I wasn't saying the opposite. Show them. I'll be cheering for you."
We hugged eachother. She squeezed a little tighter. "I was counting on it."
I caressed her hair and stared into her eyes until.. "Come on, I don't want the lady to miss her flight. Kookie, if you wanted to come, it's your last call."
I smiled at her pulling back. "At least you'll have company for the trip."
She sighed. "I'm so nervous.. What if I fail?"
"What if you don't?" I hugged her one last time. "No matter what, we'll be proud okay?" I looked at Jin getting impatient. "I'll let you go.. Here." I handed her a piece of paper with my email. "If you need to talk while in Japan, use this."
Her grin was so bright. "Sure thing, I might even bring you a souvenir."
I'd love it if she did. That made me think I should make a call.
