So It's You

SIY 9: 467 days before separation

Nakatitig si Maymay sa binili nyang lunch habang hinihintay si Edward at Heaven na makabalik mula sa counter. Nauna kasi syang pumila at sumunod na lang ito.  Actually,  she doesn't want to be here together with them kaso lang she doesn't want Edward to think that something is wrong with her.

And yes, five days na ang nakalipas ever since that day na na-ospital si Maymay.  She woke up, already feeling much better than she was, only to find out something that would not be okay for her. 

Magkasama si Edward at Heaven na nagpunta sa ospital. Edward,  then,  decided to push through the confession but not the original plan.  The original plan ay may part for thanksgiving ang bawat main organizers where supposed to be,  isa si Maymay na magsasalita dahil sya ang floor director at tatawagin nito si Edward at Heaven to thank them specifically for agreeing to do the job of being a host.  Then they both will have their own speeches and when it's Edward's turn,  it will be the cue for him to confess. 

But since,  he is in a rush he told Christian and Vivoree to stick to HIS original plan of a PRIVATE TALK with Heaven for his confession. Hindi aattend si Edward ng party,  to avoid unnecessary prolonging of the time. He would wait outside the theater,  and let Christian and Vivoree convince Heaven na hindi sya makakapunta si Edward sa party due to an emergency only to be surprised na he is waiting for her outside.

And the confession happened, with Edward finally able to tell Heaven his feelings for her,  and finding out Heaven felt the same way for him. He could've been the happiest day of his life.  Edward told Heaven that if only he could go out on a date with her immediately,  he would but he just really need to go and look after for Maymay.  Heaven plainly agreed as long as she goes with him.

And the rest is history and now they are officially together. 

Tumunog ang phone ni Maymay.  It was Ricci who texted. 

Saan ka? 

Nireplyan nya ito at sinabi kung nasaan sya.  Pag-angat nya ng ulo,  pabalik na sa table nila si Edward at Heaven.

Maya-maya,  nagtext ulit si Ricci.

Sino kasama mo?

She then replied who she is with. Tinabi na nya yung phone nya kasi nasa table na ang dalawa at kakain na sila. 

"Ah,  Edward after lunch pala, hindi ako makakasama sa inyo ha. May pupuntahan kasi ako eh." Maymay told them.  Sa totoo lang,  wala talaga syang pupuntahan.  Pero bahala na.  She just doesn't want to be around them a little more longer. 

On the other hand,  nanibago naman si Edward kay Maymay.  It's been five days already at parang may nagbago kay Maymay.  Especially, sa pangalan nya na mismo ito tinatawag at hindi sa mga nicknames na inimbento para sa kanya nito.  He knows na she only calls him by those names kapag silang dalawa lang pero even if sa text at tawag,  hindi na sya nito tinatawag na 'Dodong,  Edong,  o Dong' and even if it was just a span of five days, he kinda missed it. But he just brushed it off.  "Saan ka ba pupunta? Samahan ka na lang namin?"

That's the least of what Maymay wanted.  If she stays around a little bit longer,  God knows how long can she stop herself from breaking down.  "Sa mall, may kailangan lang bilhin para sa bahay.  Hindi naman na kailangan, kasama ko naman na si Ricci." She gave both of them a wide yet fake smile.  Kailangan nya tuloy ayain si Ricci mamaya para pangatawanan ang excuse nya. Sana ay hindi ito busy sa basketball practice nya.  

"Ikaw Ate May ha, ano nang score sa inyo ni Ricci?" Pang-aasar ni Heaven.  Edward doesn't like the thought of Ricci and Maymay.  Because up until now,  he is unsure and uncertain of what Ricci's intention for Maymay.
