"Hey Jess did you hear that the year 9's football team lost the finals today?" I asked. Jess' mouth drop.
"No! you've got to be kidding, they haven't lost a game in 5 years!"
"Yeah well they did and all the other students aren't very happy with them,"
"Jesus, if I were them I would be humiliated," Jess and I started to laugh. Suddenly the door opened.
"Girls what are you doing here? Haven't you gotten changed yet?" Mr. Cortly asked. We turned our heads to him. Yes we were in the change room but it was lunch time and no one ever comes in there anymore, plus we just had P.E.
"Sorry sir, we'll get on to it right away," Jess said while standing like a solider saluting him. Mr. Cortly bit his lip trying to look angry with us but to be honest he looked like he had just tasted a lemon.
"Fine! Just hurry up!" He ordered before closing the door. Jess and I burst into laughter and didn't stop until our lungs were bursting for air.
"Did you see his face?" Jess asked while still laughing.
"Yeah it looked like a cats butt," I replied while wiping my tears away.
"You got that right," Jess replied. The half time bell went and we both sighed.
"Well we better get dress or we really will get in trouble," I suggested. Jess nodded and we left.
