We didn't talk much on the way there. I focused on the music and sang the words under my breath. The car suddenly stop and I was propelled forwards but saved by my seat belt. Beck hopped out first and opened my door. I took his hand and we walked away.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"Somewhere you will like," he replied smiling. I giggled.
"You've know me less than a few hours," I pointed out.
"On the contrary, I have known you longer," he explained. I was going to ask what he meant but it didn't matter. We walked up to a woods but not one I was families with. The sky shone with stars as the lights for the city was far away. I gasped as we walked up to a small area that had no trees in the middle but a table, chairs, fire and a little clear area that looked right for dancing. The little area was surrounded but trees which made it even better. There was no sign of life apart from the animas, tree and us.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
"Like it? I have no words," I replied. He sat me down and put on the radio that I hadn't seen. Once he finally sat down we started our meal. It was pasta with mango on the side. It tasted delicious. The we had desert which was a small amount of chocolate moose.
"Come I have some marshmallows," he gestured toward the fire. We sat down on a fallen log with sticks in our hands. The fire propelled heat onto my face and traveled all through my body. There was no sound apart from the faint music coming from the radio and the fire. We laughed every time we over cooked our marshmallows and it fell on the ground or in the fire. Everything felt right. It felt like we were the only people on earth and there was nothing beyond the borders of the woods. We had also left our phones in the car so there was nothing electric apart from the radio which ran on solar power. The moon rose over our heads and stayed there for a while. Beck wrapped his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder. I nearly fell asleep when he nudged me. The song 'Like a Drum' came on and I ran to the radio and turned it up as loud as I liked. Beck grabbed my hand and moved me to the flat empty area.
"Do you wish to dance?" He asked.
"Yes," I replied. He grabbed both of my hands and spun me around a thousand times. We tapped our feet and sang the song. Every move we made matched the beat.
"Like a drum!" I sung at the top of my voice.
"Some day I know we'r gonna feel again!" Beck sung as he dipped me. We kicked our feet out at each other and galloped around the tabled and fire. Beck pulled me into his arms and locked me there. He stared at me with sparkling eyes and I stared at his as my heart thudded against my chest. Every finger and bone in my body tingled. He pulled me closer and kissed me. He smelt of the woods as if he lived there. His lips where soft on mine and he tangled his fingers in my hair. I closed my eyes and felt his heart beat against my chest. I wrapped my arms at the back of his head and we stayed there. "This is what love is like," I thought. I stood on my tiptoes. He was perfect everything was perfect around him. He kept kissing me and I didn't want it to end.
"I love you," he whispered not far from my lips.
                              "And I you."
