After I woke up Beck dried me and we walked back to the fence. Well Beck walked I had to have him help me because of my broken leg.
"How come I was fine when I was a wolf?" I asked.
"Well you're kind of like a different creature then so your bones heal but when you returned back to human they brake again...it's kind of hard to explained," he said.
"No it's ok I understand," I replied. We still have a 10 minutes of English left. Beck went to a different class so I was by myself. I saw Mia and Jess sitting in their seat looking at something. I sat next to Jess. She smiled at me.
"Hey Ti," she whispered.
"Hey what you looking at?" I asked. She held the phone up. It was a video of a rabbit running in circles in front of a car. I giggled.
"I know right," she said. Mia looked like she was going to explode with excitement.
"What?" I asked giggling.
"I'm staying here! Mum and dad found a cool house and well...we're moving!" She stated.
"Oh my god that's amazing Mia," I replied. "Hey Jess I was wondering if you want to come over to my house tonight?" I asked.
"You're not mad at me anymore?" She said.
"No because I know that you don't believe in the roomer anymore," I replied.
"Well then yeah I'll come," she said exited. It felt like I hadn't been home in forever. "Beck was right having the run as a wolf really helped," I thought. Suddenly the bell went and everyone except Jess and I were left.
"Where did Mia go?" Jess asked. I shrugged and got my stuff. Before we left to my house we went to go see Charlotte. I felt bad because we hadn't seen her in ages. After we got out of the hallway we ran into Aliera. She stared at Jess.
"Uh...hi," Jess hesitated.
"Hi Aliera what's up?" I asked. She turned to me.
"She's a half dragon too?" She asked. I looked at her confused.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I mean she is a half dragon like me," Aliera stated sternly. I was shocked.
"Is this true Jess?" I asked her.
"Y...yes I was going to tell you later but well I don't have to anymore," she stated. I didn't know if I should have felt angry but I didn't. I was happy for Jess. She loves dragons just like me.
"That's amazing Jess I'm so happy," I jumped up and down. She smiled at me. When I looked back Aliera was gone.
"That girl is as fast as light," Jess pointed out. I giggled.
"Not exactly," I replied. We walked past the trees beyond the fence. I knew I had to tell her but I didn't know how. When we reached the spot Charlotte was normally in she was no where to be found.
"That's strange, well I haven't been seeing her around here at all lately," she explained. I nodded until something caught my eye. Something was faintly scribbled into the dirt. I gestured for Jess to follow me. It read:
To my friends,
I want to thank you for keeping me company since I couldn't find my family. I was so stressed that I thought I would never find them. Until you guys came. You gave me my hope back and I would like to say I have finally found my family.
I will not be returning but I would just like to say,
Thank you
From Charlotte
