Lunch felt like it would last forever which at the moment felt horrible. Beck nudged my arm.

"I know what will cheer you," he smiled.

"Yeah and what would that be?" I asked.

"Do you trust me?"

"Yeah,"

"Well come with me," he said. We walked onto the oval and behind the school. There we stood in front of the hole in the fence. I stared at it.

"I found it not to long ago and there is a woods behind it," he explained.

"Let's go," I said. Beck helped me get through the hole. The air felt fresh and unpolluted.

"How can we shift if there is now moon?" I asked. Beck laughed.

"It's doesn't work like that, you just have to be angry and it will trigger the shift," he explained.

"Oh so like the hulk?" I asked.

"Yeah ok if that's how you understand it," he answered. We stood there in silence for a big.

"Can you go first then me?" I asked nervous. Beck nodded and I waited. I saw his hands shake and his eyes turned yellow, then a grey wolf looked up at me. I knew he was waiting for me so I threw my crutches down. I thought about my mum and how she never loved me, I thought about my dad who I didn't even know and never bothered to see if I was alright, I thought of Jess and Mia and how they don't trust me. I closed my eyes and when I opened them again well you know. I stood out in the light but disappeared into the shadows. Obviously I followed Beck this time and he kept a close eye for me. We ran for and few minutes then stopped at a lake. The cool water trickled down my throat. Beck laid down in the sun and raised his head to they sky with his eyes closed. He looked magnificent.

"You know I didn't think your colour fur would be black," his voice said smoothly in my head.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"You know only males have black fur and it shows stealth and bravery," he explained. I laid next to him. He didn't smell like the human Beck he smelt like grass and pine trees. It was a smell I wasn't used to. I rested me head on the ground and closed my eyes. Before I knew it I had fallen asleep.

Jess:

I pulled Mia behind me. We had snuck out of class so I could show her something. I couldn't believe it myself and I knew Mia would think I was crazy if I told her instead of showing her.

"Where are we going?" She asked. I shook my head.

"You'll see now hurry up!" I ran faster than ever. Once we reached the woods I walked a little further then stopped. No one would be able to see us or hear us from there. I let go of Mia and stood a few steps away from her.

"You ready?" I asked her breath gin deeply. She shrugged.

"I'm not sue anymore," she replied. I took a deep breath. My heart suddenly beaded rapidly. I closed my eyes and waited. Suddenly it felt like my bones were stretching but somehow not painfully. I opened my eyes again and now I was in a dragon form with large blue wings, a long tail, silver horns next to my ears, small spikes that ran along my back to the end of my tail and covering my whole body was sky blue scales. Mia's jaw dropped.

"Told you, you wouldn't believe me if I told you," I said.

"O...ok this is weird," she replied.

"Here hop on my back I want to show you a really pretty area that me and Taia found," I explained. Mia hesitated but got on. When I reached the spot Mia hopped down. I thought I saw something but it must have been my imagination. I returned back to my human form. We sat in front of the lake. The sun felt warm on my face.

"Why wasn't Taia at English?" She asked.

"Who knows? But I kind of miss her you know like she hasn't been around since the weekend," I pointed out. Mia nodded and started fiddling with her shoes.

"What was that?" She asked.

"What was what?" I asked.

"I heard something behind us in the trees," she pointed behind us. I stiffened. "We still haven't shown her Charlotte yet," I thought.

"It's probity just...just a bunny," I hesitated.

"No it sounded but but not to big," she explained. I sighed with relief. "So it isn't Charlotte," I thought again.

"Would you like me to check?" I asked. She nodded. I rolled my eyes and walked to the trees. For a moment I didn't see anything until. A grey and black would looked at me. A shiver ran up to spine.

"Hey Mia come here and get your phone," I said just loud enough for her to hear me. The black wolf growled at me. Mia walked up and froze in her tracts. She slowly pulled he phone up. They darted out into the sun. I ran after them. The lake closed off their exit. The black wolf tucked her tail between her legs and lifted her top lip.

"This is perfect," I stated. Then the grey wolf snapped at me. I jumped back.

"Carful Jess they're wild animals," Mia pointed out. I nodded.

Taia:

I couldn't believe this. Out of all people Jess and Mia were going to be the ones to expose up. I looked at Beck.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"We're not going to let them expose us no matter if they are our friends or not," Beck said. His voice was hard and sharp like I had never hear before.

"Agreed," I replied. They hadn't taken the photo yet. My anger boiled inside of me. "How could they do this?! They are my friends! First the leave me and now! I'm done with trying to be friends with them!" I thought. I started barking as loud as I could at Jess and Mia. Beck stared at me. I stood as straight as I could and lifted my top lips showing them my large teeth. I continued to bark at them.

"What wrong with it?" Jess asked.

"It's an animal Jess we can take it," Mia said determined. I snapped at Jess leg. She jumped back.

"Get ready to take the photo!" Jess said. I looked at Beck and we both nodded. We dove into the water and was as far down as we could. Jess and Mia where still there.

"We can't stay here forever," I explained to Beck.

"We have to stay down here as long as we can," he replied. It didn't take long but my lungs screamed for air and I was beginning to get light headed. "Hold on Taia," Beck demanded. I did but soon lost all thought.
