The next day, Josh snuck Tyler out of the house real early so that Jenna wouldn't know. They decided to go back to the gardens to spend some time together. Besides, it was where they first met.
Tyler was a flower that grew among all the bushes. His beauty filled them all with sunshine. His heart was filled with gentleness and love. Although he was only a child, Josh loved him and cared about him.
The two walked through the gardens, holding hands.
"Why are we here?" Tyler asked. "I thought I'd never come back."
"I want to give you something." Josh said; walking over to a flower bush.
Josh picked a single sunflower from the branch. He placed it into the boy's hands.
"For you, my sweet flower."
The boy sniffed it.
"It's so beautiful. I've never seen more like this before."
Josh placed his hand on Tyler's cheek.
"This flower is special because it will save your life one day. Remember that when you hold it."
"I will."
He gently kissed his forehead; wrapping his arms around him. Tyler smiled; closing his eyes during the embrace.
