"I'm coming out Josh! Don't think you can hide me!"
Josh gasped; grasping Tyler's hand towards him.
"Come with me, and don't look back."
They both started running.
"Why are we running?" Tyler asked.
"I'll tell you when we get farther away."
"Josh, please just tell me-"
"You don't understand!" He shouted; pulling the boy towards him.
Tyler seemed a bit scared, but the man didn't mean to frighten him.
"I brought a girl with me."
"A girl?"
"Yes. She's just a friend. I've been taking care of her almost all my adult life. I just didn't want her to distract us. And she is really crazy. She thinks that I'm you away from her."
"But I've never met her." Tyler said.
"Good." Josh told him. "Because she will be all over you."
Suddenly, footsteps started approaching.
"You can run but you can't hide Joshua Dun!"
"Shit! Go!"
Tyler listened and ran; still holding onto Josh.
The man did his best to keep himself away from Jenna. But she was coming after them very quickly.
Eventually, they made it to the magnolia tree. Josh saw that Jenna was close.
"Come over here flower." Josh said; placing Tyler behind the tree.
"Stay here and I'll try to keep the girl away."
Tyler pulled on his hand.
"No! I'm not letting you leave me."
Josh pulled the boy into his arms.
"I'll come back for you. I promise."
"No you won't."
Josh kissed the boy's forehead.
"I can assure you. I will."
The man took off running; leaving Tyler to stay behind the magnolia tree.
