I wake up in the morning and looked at the sky. It was raining today. It would mean that it'll be even harder to search for Jinx.
I went to the bathroom and brushed my hair. Sadly when it's raining, my hair turns a bit curly. I don't even know why, it just does. It'll give me more attention than what I already have. Being called, "Jinx's sister," sparks up everyone's curiousity.
Ezreal then walked in, shirtless, and grab a toothbrush.
I stared at him. He can't be serious.
"I'm pretty sure this isn't the only bathroom in the mansion, Ezreal."
He shrugged. "Closest one to my room."
"You don't even care that you're shirtless?"
"I don't know. Most girls tend to admire it when they're here so I just don't wear a shirt in the morning."
How many girls has he invited over? Seriously.
"Hm," he said, looking at me.
"What?"
He put his toothbrush down and stepped closer to me. He stroke my hair with his fingers.
"Since when did your hair curled?" he asked quietly.
I don't know if it's me but I can hear my heart beating but I need to control it.
"It always curls when it rains. I don't know why," I replied looking at his face. He was just an inch away from my lips.
He played around with my locket for a bit.
I looked at him. I couldn't do this to his girlfriend and what about me saying that I wouldn't date a player?
I took his hand that was still stroking my hair and put it beside his waist.
I said, "I can't let you do this Ez," and I walked back to my room.
He looked at me in disappointment.
~Ezreal's PoV~
I was SO close to kissing her! Why didn't she let me do it? Maybe she doesn't like me? Well I do have a girlfriend, Lux, but Kiera just seems so interesting. Her flaming red hair turning into a golden yellow at the bottom, her sweet personality, her passion for finding Jinx etc.
She even looks prettier than Lux, I thought.
I froze. Did I say that? If Lux found out that I was thinking that, she would've killed Kiera on the spot. Can she defend herself? Does she have special abilities like the rest of us at League do?
I just have to ask at breakfast and make sure Lux doesn't get jealous during the day.
I put on an electric-blue shirt with a pair of jeans. I put on my gloves (just in case) and I went downstairs to the kitchen. I should make her breakfast. It's the least I could do as the host.
I started cracking eggs and cooking some bacon. Kiera came down ten minutes later, when I just finished. She wore a red shirt today that drooped from her left shoulder and black jeans. Her goggles were there, same as yesterday.
"Morning sunshine," I winked. "I made you breakfast."
She didn't seemed to turn even a slightest bit of red when I called her sunshine. Weird! Most girls blush. This girl's different, that's for sure.
"Thanks Ez, it looks delicious," she said, taking a seat.
I sat in front of her as we started to talk and eat.
Kiera's pretty cool, I came to a conclusion at that. She's nothing like Jinx, who is a mental maniac wanting to cause havoc everywhere. How could they've been siblings?
I looked at Kiera. She had beautiful red hair with golden tips, pink eyes and her ears were doubled pierced with earrings. One of them was a tiny red dragon while the other was a rose. Jinx had braided blue hair, pale skin, and didn't have earrings for all I remembered.
Kiera noticed me looking at her and I blushed. She smiled and turned a little red. Could that smile be flirtatious?
We finished breakfast and head out. I was planning to show her Jinx's last known location since the rain stopped so she could find her. I don't even know why I'm helping her so much. I was only paid to either give her a tour or help her find Jinx, not both.
Maybe I'm starting to like her a bit.
"Here it is," I said, stopping in front of a bank, blown up to bits.
"Wow," Kiera said, not in awe but in sadness. "My sister did all of this?"
"Yes.." I answered. She is probably feeling guilt right now, she's too kind.
"I'm sorry about this..." she looked at me.
"Hey don't worry. We can rebuild this in no time," I said, trying to cheer her up.
She still looked a little sad. I walked over to her and gave her a hug. I don't know why but I felt compassion running through me.
"Hey it's okay," I said in her ear. "Don't feel sad. Please."
Surprisingly, she hugged back.
"I just feel bad," she says quietly.
"I know you do," I said. "But you shouldn't. It wasn't your fault."
Before I even realized it, I kissed her on the forehead. I felt embarassed.
"Uhm. Sorry.." I said, being unable to speak.
"It's okay. It helped me I guess," she put on a small smile.
Does this mean she likes it when I kiss her? Why is it so hard to read a girl's mind?
