Chapter 6: Bot Match

~Kiera's PoV~

The bus came and in no time we were at the stadium.

"So, I'm our team's adc. Jax is our captain and top laner. Thresh is my support and Vi's our jungler. All we need is a mid and that's you. I already texted them to meet us here so we can train and see if you proven yourself to be mid," Ezreal said.

"Alright," I say nervously. I really don't like being the center of attention but I have to make myself worthy of joining Ezreal's team. Wait Vi is on it? Oh god. I need to make a good impression.

He put a lock of my hair behind my ear. He leaned close and whispered "I know you'll do well."

Everytime he leans in on me I feel butterflies in my stomach. Do I really have feelings for him? I've spent the past few days with him and he's been kind to me and a flirt. I guess I do like him.

In the stadium, the battlefield was huge. There were several in fact, so that more than one team can go on at the same time. It depends on which team's game is projected.

I met Ezreal's team on Summoner's Rift. I greeted Jax, Thresh and Vi. Vi eyed me suspiciously but she was friendly towards me.

"So show us your skills in a 1v1 match against a bot," Jax said.

Twitch taught me everything I need to know about League so I was ready. I was against an Ahri bot. I used Fire Rose to weaken Ahri and kept farming my lane for gold. I quickly hit level 6 as Ahri bot was halfway down her health and trying to take down my mid turret. I seized the moment to use my combo.

I quickly used Burn After Me to leave a trail that Ahri will burn herself with. With the speed, I used Fire Rose as it pelts her down with fireballs and Blown Away as it created a flaming rocket crashing into her. Finally, I used my ultimate, Dragon Flame, as a red dragon soared out of me and burned Ahri bot to pieces.

I swiftly took down her turrets and nexus as I gained the title, "Legendary," from killing her so many times.

I thought to myself, this bot is too easy.

The announcer yelled, "Victory!" as I went over to Jax, Vi, Ez and Thresh.

"Impressive," said Jax.

"I would love to support you someday," added Thresh.

"I knew you would do great," said Ezreal.

I blushed. I didn't even deserve these compliments. I mean it was just a bot match.

"Thanks guys."

Only Vi was the one who seemed a little mad. Could that be jealousy?

"Good job but let's see how well you do in a real match," said Vi.

I don't know if that means she wants to see how well I do or if she wants to see me fail in a PvP game.

"Does this mean I'm on the team?" I asked.

They looked at one another and decided yes.

I felt joy. I'm joining League of Legends! I can improve my skills and develop a great bond with these guys. Hopefully, my team will go far.

I spent the next few hours with my team, discussing tatics, strategies, clever combos, etc. We even got to verse each other in the custom game mode. It was 2v3, Ezreal and I against them. I wrecked them all to their delight. They said that I am improving step by step.
