Chapter 9: Ezreal's Feelings

~An Hour Earlier: Ezreal's PoV~

I was happily eating dinner with Kiera and who decides to show up? Lux herself! How on earth did Garen let her come to Piltover?! Sure he's here himself but he would never let her travel!

Kiera. Lux said something to her and Kiera's expression was sad. I'll make her pay for what she did to her.

I need to meet Lux tomorrow. Honestly, I'm so done with her. I need to break up.

Should I do that by not showing up? Or should I do that in person?

I shrugged it off. I'll decide later. I paid for the bill and headed out.

Where could she have gone?

I notice a text coming from my cellphone.

It was from Teemo.

Hey Ezreal!

You need to come to the Piltover Hospital immediately! Kiera's been poisoned. She accidently stepped on one of my shrooms so sorry about that >.>

Hurry dude. She needs you!!

P.S. I think she likes you.

My heart hammered for a moment. Does she really like me? (play song ;3) But now's not the time, I need to get to that hospital.

I used Arcane Shift and appeared immediately. I asked the woman in the office on where Kiera is located. She said that she was in the room on the right.

I rushed in and see an unconsious Kiera lying on the bed. Beside her was Sona who appeared to be healing her. There were two chairs also, one Trist was sitting in and another with a floating cellphone.

"Teemo, I know what your passive is," I say, rolling my eyes.

He became visible. "Awh, I was hoping that you would forget."

I asked Sona, "Is she going to be okay?"

"Mhm, just let her rest for a while," Sona replied as she left the room, ready to help another patient.

"So guys, or well, yordles," I say. "What happened the past hour?"

They explained everything to me and then started interrogating.

"So are you two a couple now?"

"What happened to Lux?"

"Do you like her?"

"Does she like you? I think she does."

"How long have you known her?"

The questions just flowed and flowed and flowed.

"Enough okay?" I sighed. "No, we are not a couple, Lux is still my girlfriend, I don't know if I do, I don't know, maybe? Weeks probably..."

"Wait a minute," I said slowly. "Why are you wearing her goggles?"

"OH MY GOD YOU DO LIKE HER!" screamed Teemo.

I felt a blush on my face. "Shhhhh. You'll wake her up."

"But but YOU DO!" exclaimed Teemo. Sheesh. Does this guy ever shut up.

"Okay so what if I do?" I said.

"Well she might not like you," Tristana pointed out.

I felt my lips quiver. "Why not?" I asked.

"Well she told us about her problems. Apparently she liked someone but he has a girlfriend and his girlfriend dropped by. Then he mentioned he didn't really like her even though she thought he did because of his hints," explained Trist.

I slumped down on the chair next to Kiera. So she does like me.. but I made her feel like I didn't like her, I thought bitterly. I never loved someone as much as I loved her. She makes me broken by the thought of this.

When did I mention that I didn't like her though? My mind was trying to recall the events.

I was eating dinner then Lux came in. She interrogated me about Kiera and I explained on why I was with her.

That's it. I thought sadly.

I said that I only hanged out with her because of the RP but it wasn't because of that.

I hanged out with her because she's a cool, amazing, smart and beautiful person to hang out with.

I hanged out with her because I like her.

Even more than that.

I love her.
