Cassie
The next four hours of school luckily sped by, and to my satisfaction, before lunch I was happy to see one of my other best friends, Blaire Anderson, walk up to me.

Blaire was by far the it girl of my group. Out of all seven of us, she had to be the fiestest, yet most humble one of us all. She was also most definitely gorgeous.

With emerald green eyes and long, curly red hair, I still had no freaking clue how Blaire wasn't taken. Literally, there were no imperfections to this girl!

I mean, honestly, if I had to choose a girl to mingle with, it would definitely without a doubt be Blaire.

As I locked up my locker, Blaire approached me by saying, "I seriously don't know how much longer I can take gym class. Evan Watson keeps looking at me with that stare although he's dating my cousin." My face broke out into a smile as I said,

"Don't blame you on the hating gym part, but I agree that it's definitely wrong Evan keeps giving you the look. How can he actually do that to Emma?"

Emma Levine. High school's perfect girl. The genetics that ran in Blaire's family were spectacular.

As we walked over to the cafeteria, Blaire said, "To be honest, Evan is a complete pig. If I could, I'd karate kick him in the nuts with a knife strapped to my knee."

I winced at the pain a boy would go through although I am a girl. Ouch.

Looking towards Blaire, I couldn't help but ask, "Girl, you have to have the most violent mind ever."

Blaire winked and said while we walked down the crowded steps to the first floor, "Just call me Little Ass Kicker."

We burst out laughing, and right as we walked down the final step of the stairs, simultaneously (hint the sarcasm people) my foot caught on the step, and in slow motion (or at least that's how it felt) the floor was becoming closer and closer as I was prepared to fall.

Closing my eyes tightly for the impact, I prepared myself.

Except the pain never came.

Instead the feeling that did come was the feeling of arms being wrapped around me securely, and stares being sent my way.

My eyes opened, and I was greeted back with eyes of dark chocolate brown, my mind turned off and disregarded.

Of course. Fate must truly hate me.

But somehow, I couldn't get away, I couldn't remove my arms from their hold around my arch enemy's neck. I just couldn't.

A pair of lips found their way to my ear as my savior whispered, "You really have to stop falling for me, Watts." Lee Felix whispered in my ear with a tone of softness and flirtatious all the same.

Oh wow. A pun.

I then realized there was this aleinized feeling of heat in the bottom of my stomach and a blastof heat to my cheeks.
