Cassie
"What the hell are you doing here?" I snapped through my teeth, my heart racing at the thought of getting caught with a boy in my room at this hour.Or worst. Felix in my room.
Felix rolled his eyes and held tightly to the foundation of the window outside, and just said in a second, "Just open the door, Watts. I'm going to fall and die."
I thought for a second and put on a mischevious smirk. Taking a step away from the window, I crossed my arms over my chest and said in a shockingly low tone, "Hm. I don't think I want to."
Squinting his eyes menacingly at me, he gritted through his teeth with his thick Australian accent, "Open. The. Damn. Window. Cassandra. Marie. Watts."
Did he really think using my full name would help him on this one?
Tapping my foot against my floor, I smiled and said a few seconds afterward, "Fine."
Felix released a breath of relief, and as soon as my window slid open, Felix threw himself into my room, a loud thud sounding on my floor.
"Felix!" I exclaimed, my heart racing even faster.
Sudden footsteps sounded from across the house, and the suspense was unbearable.
Looking to Felix, I was about to tell him to hide but I knew he got the memo.
Making a run for it, Felix quickly shut the door of my closet behind him, and I dove into my bed frantically, wrapping myself up in covers on my queen sized bed.
At just the right moment, I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep while my Dad opened the door to my room, turned on the lights (although my lamp was on) and stopped midsentence, "Cassie, are you-"
I assumed he saw my sleeping state, because before I knew it, he shut the door to my room and turned off the lights.
Hearing the sound of his footsteps fading, I released a breath and said in a low tone, "Felix, you can come out now."
As I got up, I turned back on my nightstand's lamp and fixed my curly brown hair.
Felix walked out and let his eyes roam over my attire. I then realized of how much skin I was showing.
Jesus. Could today go any worse?
Clearing his throat, Felix's voice feigned mocking as he said, "You know, I've never seen anyone in the middle of November wear booty shorts. Yet I have to admit, it's a nice change for you, Watts."
Scowling, I grabbed the first thing I saw (unfortunately it was only my stuffed teddy) and hurled it at his head. Felix yelped in surprise and ducked.
Mr. Teddy (look, I got the bear when I was only six and wasn't very creative with names at the time) fell to Felix's feet, and he picked the bear up, and readied his arm.
