Oh my STAY guys! (Did I really just make a pun like that? 💀)

Anyways, we're about halfway done with the book! I plan to end the story on either chapter 24, 25 or 26.

It's insane how fast we're flying through Cassie and Felix's story, but I truly love this!

Enjoy the chapter loves!
❤Autumn.

Cassie
There was something every girl feared in her lifetime. Well, at least if you're a alien.

And that was introducing your boyfriend to your parents. Well, in my case it was more of telling my parents that Felix was my boyfriend, because they already knew him so well, and it was beyond terrifying.

And just to add on to the never ending fun, the same would go for me and Felix's parents.

It really was going to come back to bite me in the ass that I hadn't planned this out with Felix, but I was just going to have to go with the roll.

I sat in my living room with Dad while Jade and Mom started dinner in the kitchen whenever the doorbell rang.

Now the chaos starts.

"Can you get the door, Cass?" I nodded and got up, opening the door to reveal Charlie (Felix's dad), Evangeline (Felix's mother) Olivia his sister and of course, Felix.

"Hey guys." I said welcomingly, hoping to keep my tone calm and mutual.

Felix caught my eyes, and winked as he walked inside along with his parents.

"Hey Cassie, here's some Korean egg rolls we made for dinner." Evangeline said warmly while handing me the paper plate wrapped up in tin foil. I gave her a smile as I took it.

Why was it I couldn't help but see Felix's family in a different kind of light now? Like...even more respectful than before?

"Thanks, Evangeline. They smell wonderful." I walked over to the kitchen and placed the plate on the counter.

Just like Felix's cologne, my thoughts betrayed me. My eyes flew to Felix as he shook my dad's hand in greeting and Dad told him something that made him laugh.

Oh dear God. Not now. And thankfully, my mom saved me. She then said loudly enough so everyone could hear,

"The chicken won't be done for another hour, everyone." I let out a breath of relief and took this as my chance to escape with Felix.

"Perfect! Because me and Felix have to study for anatomy. The experiment is next Friday, right Felix?" I gave my boyfriend the death glare.

I honestly swear, I tried my best not to sound suspicious, but everyone in the damn house turned to me (including Jade and Mom, who poked their heads out of the kitchen) and looked at me with a funny expression.
