Double chapter tonight! Yes!

Oh my gosh guys. We have eight more chapters until this is over. Eight!

Do you think Jade will survive?

Will Cassie and Felix have to break up because of the big Anatomy experiment coming up because Cassie MIGHT win her end of the bet?

And where the hell did Jared go?

So many questions and so little time!

Anyways, the song on top (swipe right!) is meant for a moment that comes up in the chapter later. I'll tell you guys when to start the song.

By the way, this song is Cassie and Jade's song. Its called Somebody To Die For by Hurt.

I love you all, stay safe and enjoy!
❤Autumn.

Cassie
Wednesday night quickly approached, and with every aching moment I had thought of only Jade and the hope in my heart.

Felix's words last night were enough to power the positivity in my mind. And also had convinced me to eat and take care of myself while helping Jade.

Mom and Dad sat in two chairs at the back of the room, counting sheep peacefully as I held Jade's hand, looking down at that beautiful sleeping face.

Even as a ten year old, I could already tell Jade was going to be a little heartbreaker. She was gorgeous.

Her hair was a dark brown accented with natural streaks of a lighter golden brown. She had curly hair, but not to curly to the point where it was uncontrollable and everywhere, but perfectly contained and perfect. Her skin complexion was tan, while her eyes matched my own.

I couldn't wait to see her as she got older, as she matured into the beautiful young woman she was made to be.

Smiling, I let the powerful memory burn over me.

I was taken to a time when I was only nine and Jade only two. A time of ease and paradise, a time where as a child, you had nothing to fear.

Well, except for the humorous and ridiculous things.

It was the spring time, a few days before school started up again after summer break. I absolutely dreaded going back, and I remembered staying up as long as possible to drag the night on and on.

Anyways, Oregon had many sunny beaches with soft sand that felt either pleasing or unpleasing between your toes, but that didn't mean the water's climate was exactly warm.

Mom had said it was more sensible if we went to the community pool within our neighborhood, but I begged her to go to the back for one reason strictly.
