It was a nice, sunny day. Everybody who went outside was greeted by the blue sky. There was not a cloud in sight.
All around the town, people had things to do. Children and teenagers had to go to school. Adults had work to attend to. But for the ones who had nothing to do and just wanted to get some fresh air were at the park.
And that is exactly where Slappy and his girlfriend Shelly were at.
The couple were walking down the sidewalk and holding hands. The sun beamed down on them. Slappy, who was a human, shielded his eyes with his arm.
"Boy, it sure is bright," he stated. "I can barely see the sky."
"Yeah," Shelly agreed. She was looking at his and her feet, keeping her eyes away from the sun.
They soon bumped into something. Slappy lowered his arm and frowned.
"Hey!" he exclaimed. "Watch where you are—" He gasped. "M-Mary-Ellen?"
