Snappy's eyes widened, and he gasped, hearing his twin brother's voice, and spun around in his chair. He gulped and felt sweat forming in his palms, thinking that he was doomed.
But that was what he thought.
"S-Slappy," he said, trying his best to not stammer, even though that he was. "I am glad that you are here. I was wondering where you were."
His brother stepped into the room. "That is none of your business," he replied. "But if you must know, I was doing my business in the bathroom. That is what all humans do."
"Oh. Why...yes. You are correct about that."
Slappy walked up to him and crossed his arms. "You did not answer my question. What the heck are you doing here? Are you crazy too?"
Snappy frowned at that last part. "Absolutely not. I am only here to support Shelly in any way that I can. You know that I care for her also."
"The only support that she will be receiving is from me. I know that she is not crazy and want this whole mess to be behind us before our wedding."
The therapist tapped his fingers on his desk. "You were going to tell Shelly something," he stated.
Snappy turned back to him. He suddenly breathed heavily.
If he told the truth, then he and Mary-Ellen would be caught at last. If not...what would happen to Shelly?
Would she die?
"What were you going to tell me?" Shelly asked.
