Ike was running. He was running for his life. He ran through a white hall that seemed infinite. His heart was pounding so hard in his chest it rang in his ears. Whatever he did he couldn't stop running even though he didn't know what was chasing him he knew if he stopped it would kill him. It would capture him and it would kill him. Besides the thing that chased him he was totally alone. His lungs were on fire just before Ike could collapse he turned the corner and tried to slow his loud breathing. The cock of a gun echoed the halls.
"Where are you? You American bastard, where are you?" The voice was taunting. His British accent added to the pity he had for Ike and intensified the degradation the teen was feeling. Once he neared Ike's corner where he was hiding he did something brash. Even in his dream he was stupidly bold. The black haired teen jumped from hiding intending to tackle the gunman but only got shot in the stomach. It had felt just like it had when he was shot in the shoulder this time though it was magnified by at least ten. His whole abdomen felt like it was on fire all he could do to aid it even a little was to clutch his stomach crying. A bloodcurdling scream left him. He screamed awake and Ike jolted in bed. His breathing deepened as he looked around his empty room and Kyle let himself in.
"Ike, are you okay? What happened?"
Kyle handed his little brother his inhaler and he took deep breaths."It was a nightmare... He was trying to shoot me. He found me and..." There were tears in his eyes so Kyle brought him into a tight hug.
"Don't worry Ike, the police are doing all they can to capture that guy. I promise he won't hurt you ever again." For a second he believed Kyle he eased into the hug and cried. In the end he still felt on edge he felt paranoid and scared. Kyle was trying but his words seemed insincere for a guy going back to school next month. How could he protect his little brother states away?
Karen didn't want to go to Ike's Bar mitzvah alone so she brought along Kenny who had bought a camera and was insistent on taking pictures of everything. When they entered the Hilton hotel's reserved ball room all Karen could hear was the clicking of Kenny's camera and chit chat. In seconds her older brother was gone no doubt taking more pictures. She was alone just what she was trying to avoid. She wanted to leave the hotel but Ruby grabbed her arm pulling her into the crowd. The brunette was excited to see her friend again. "Ruby!" The two hugged and Ruby smiled.
"Karen thank God! I thought Fillmore and I were the only ones here, that'd be pretty awkward." She chuckled scratching her cheek and Karen smiled brightly at her.
"You're not ignoring him anymore?" Ruby turned red at the statement.
"I wasn't ignoring my boyfriend! It's just.... I needed some space just the whole Ike getting shot thing freaked me out a little is all."
"Really? Kenny gets shot all the time so I guess I didn't really see it as traumatic. I'm glad you two are good again though!"
The rabbi of South Park's largest synagogue stepped onto the stage and grabbed the mic. He tapped it a couple of times to gain everyone's attention. Once everyone was looking forward he began to speak. He had a graceful aura to him. "We're here today to celebrate the coming of age for Ike Broflovski. First before we get the celebration started let us introduce the family themselves." He gestured to Sheila, Kyle, and Ike. The crowd clapped graciously. The rabbi then turned his attention to Ike. "Ike, we are honored to celebrate with you. Let's hear it for Ike Broflovski."
Ike wore a tuxedo for his Bar mitz vah. It was held at the Hilton hotel because his mom heard good things from Eric Cartman's mother from all the events Cartman held. In the back of Ike's mind he thought it was a stupid concept but it made him smile to know that Kyle would probably laugh at the reference.
