I glared at Maxine, then stomped out of the room without turning back. "Felicia!" she called after me. I ignored her call and walked off.
I was fuming. What was so secretive that they couldn't tell me? Was I not part of the group already? Conflicting emotions passed by me. Eventually, I settled on Cool Yet Angry.
I didn't talk to Maxine the whole week. Whenever I saw her in the hostel or anywhere else, I lifted.my chin and turned my back towards her. I knew I was being childish, but I couldn't care anymore.
"Felicia!" that familiar voice which I had heard oh so often in the past few weeks. I turned back and smiled at Damien. Beside him was a guy which I had never seen before. Oh my gosh, he was hot. And totally sexy. His mesmerizing green eyes looked so deep and enchanting. After a few moments, I realised I was staring at him and looked away. A smirk was playing on the guy's lips.
"Felicia, this is my cousin - Steve," introduced Damien.
"Oh," was all I could say. What was I thinking? I liked Damien. I forced myself to look at Damien and ignored the cheeky look that Steve was giving me.
"He was on a vacation for a few weeks, that's why you didn't see him around. He just got back," explained Damien.
"Uh huh..." I said, trying not to concentrate on Steve's six pack that was clearly seen through the grey shirt he was wearing.
"Felicia?" Damien asked. "You look strange. Is there anything wrong with you?" His concerned face caused my heart to beat so loudly that I'm sure everyone could hear it.
"Huh? What? No!" I turned away. "Erm.. I have class now! Gotta go!" I lied. With that, I turned away and sprinted down the corridor.
I ran until they were both out of sight. Then I sank to the ground in a heap, breathing heavily. My chest was pounding. I sighed. Two sexy dudes were just too much for me to handle.
Damien POV
I smiled smugly as Felicia ran down the corridor. That idiot. Steve elbowed me. "Looks like she's completely under your spell, eh?"
I smirked at him. "I always get what I want. Don't ruin it for me," I warned Steve. I hate how he's more popular with the ladies than me.
And the fact that he knew that.
"Whatever, dude. She seems sorta cute though," he smiled playfully.
"You can have her when I'm done with her," I offered.
"Hell no. I don't want her," he said. With that, he walked off whistling, hands in pockets.
Felicia. That girl is such an idiot. She thinks I'm interested in her? Don't get ahead of yourself, bitch. "I'll have some fun with you," I said to myself.
Maxine POV:
"A week?!" Louise was shocked. "Oh no, Maxine, you are not telling me that Felicia ignored you for a whole week," she said.
"Chill, Louise. I know how stubborn this fragile cousin of mine can be," I sighed.
Louise looked down. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. I knew how bad she felt.
"Hey, it's okay, babe. This is nothing compared to what he did to you," I said, putting my arms around her shoulders.
Louise stared down. I knew she was trying hard not to cry. "It's okay, you can cry if you want. I'm your godsister, remember? You can cry in front of me," I comforted her.
Damn, I really shouldn't have said that.
Louise looked at me, tears glistening in my eyes. I counted down silently. 3... 2... 1...
