Peter was nervously fixing his sweatshirt, a small piece of string threaded through his fingers as he played with it. To say he was excited was an understatement. He was about to meet a princess, not only that but a super rich, genius, sister of a superhero. Her name was Shuri and Tony had been asked to watch over her for a while as her brother had some serious business to attend to (something about coronation confusion and parents, but Peter had no idea).

He had only heard stories of Shuri and he personally thought she sounded totally badass. Tony had told him that she was a genius when it came to science which Peter was excited about. Tony had also told him that she would be arriving any second now when he began fixing his hair. Not a few moments later, a dark skinned teen with braided hair entered the building. She smiled brightly at the whole team and raised her hand with only two fingers showing, a backwards peace sign.

"Sah dudes," she chuckled quietly. Peter instantly brightened and grinned widely, recognising the reference immediately. He chuckled dryly, much like the curled hair man in the vine she had been quoting.

"Sah dude." He repeated with a backward peace sign. Shuri's eyes visibly widened and her face broke into a smile. She squealed and ran over to me, her braided hair style swung behind her.

"Hi, my name is Shuri and you're officially awesome!" She proclaimed while doing finger guns. "What's your name?"

"My name Jeff," Peter smirked and forced his voice a few octaves higher and changed his accent. Shuri laughed and slung her arm around his shoulder. "Did we just become friends?" Peter asked as he turned to grin. She nodded and returned the grin.

"I think we did," she laughed with him and they turned and headed to Peter's room, unaware of the confused looks that came from the rest of the avengers. Tony merely shrugged and began chugging a can of cola.

"So, Shuri," Peter started as he typed the password into his room (yes, he had a room, yes, he had a lock and yes, everyone knew the password so the lock was completely pointless.). "You're an intellectual. Clearly. So I need your opinion on this new robot that I'm making." The princess nodded and they opened the heavy door to his room. They were met with clothes scattered haphazardly around the floor, a ruffled bed and a window open wide, dark curtains fluttering.

"Sorry about the mess. If I'm honest, I wasn't expecting you to be so cool and I didn't think I'd be showing you my room so . . ." Peter trailed off as he began kicking clothes to the sides of the room. Shuri laughed and flopped on the bed, enjoying the plush comfort under her.

"It's fine, don't worry," she insisted, making Peter stop and jump next to her, copying her by lying down. "If you think this is a mess then you should see mine. Actually, don't. It's probably got a poisonous atmosphere or something." She paused for them to finish laughing. "Now show me your robot!"

Peter jolted up and ran excitedly to the walls and pulled a handle connected to the wall sideways, revealing another room that looked like a lab, but with robots milling around and miniature planes zooming over head.

"So this is my sort of tinkering room," Peter gestured to the large room. "Tony has one too. It's, like, if we wake up and either can't get back to sleep or we're just too damn lazy to go to the proper labs then we can just work on little things in here. That's my replica of a WW2 plane, the British one. Over there is my 3D printer where the only use for it is to make life size statues of shrek. That's my robot dog - she's a real bitch."

Shuri snorted with laughter before bending down to pet the robots head. Suddenly a voice crowned from above, the familiar Irish accent telling them to go downstairs for dinner. The two hungry teenagers pounded down the stairs, opting to be healthier in taking the more challenge route. However, halfway through they gave up and slid down the railing instead.

"What's cooking?" Peter asked as he sniffed the air. He detected hints of pork and a lot of vegetables. Steve smiled at the two from his seat and gestured for them to sit down.

"It's a mix of Wakandan delicacies and American dishes. Natasha and Wanda have the recipe." Steve informed the two as they pulled out the expensive chairs and sat down next to each other. Peter expertly pulled out his phone under the tablecloth and pulled up his favourite sub-reddit for Shuri, showing her the endless pages of the single letter 'E', leaving her wheezing in chair.

"There's a Spider-Man themed one too," Peter whispered. "I was trending. Hashtag I don't wanna go for, like, ages." Shuri nodded towards him with a grin.

"I know, I made like twelve."

    "Weak."
