Peter and MJ were lounging on the stools of the island table in the kitchen of Avengers Towers. MJ, with a book lay flat in front of her as she munched on her french toast. Peter browsed through his different social media accounts, one with over fifty million followers and his other, barely three thousand (most of those were teenager boy and girls who thought of Peter's facial features very appealing).

Michelle spending the night over at his best friend's house wasn't anything irregular. Ned had also shared the experience several times before so it wasn't unnatural. The trio were currently having another sleepover, Ned occupied the shower as Peter and MJ aye their breakfast.

Eventually becoming bored with scrolling through Instagram, Peter locked his phone and turned his attention to the almost quiet teenager next to him, the only sound coming from her lips was the crunch of the buttered toast or the sigh of contempt as she finished a paragraph.

"What book are you reading?" He asked, recognising that this was  an entirely different book from yesterday morning at school. The format had switched and the paragraphs looked a lot shorter.

"It's a poem book. Filled with poems. Hush." She licked her lips from stray crumbs and dusted away the fallen crumbs off her book. Peter looked over her slouched shoulder to read the pages.

And if you wanted me you should have said so,
And if I were you, I would never let you go.

"You know, no one's ever written me a poem before." Peter said in a suggestive tone. MJ nodded, barely listening or caring when the Avengers trudged in, each selecting a customised cup of pre-made coffee.

"Can you write me a poem, y'know, 'cause you're so smart," Peter pokes her arm. She started him away, muttering profanities. "Please. Please. Please." He repeated over and over as he continued to poke her.

"Fine!" She slammed her book closed and turned back to him, her patience wearing thin. The Avengers in the room stayed silent as they watched the unfolding scene with curiosity. "Roses are red, violets are blue, life is short and so are you."

With that, she picked up her book and now empty plate and left.

"She totally likes you." The entire team said simultaneously, before shouting 'jinx'.

Just a short lil idea cuz I got bored.
