MJ was eating a bar of white chocolate next to Ned, who was sipping on some flavour of soda. It was usually quiet, the only noise was a click of chocolate bitten off, or the bubbles Ned would occasionally blow into the drink as an attempt to break the annoying silence.

   "So," he spoke for the first time in what felt like hours, but was actually four minutes. "I heard you and Peter got in a fight." MJ nodded, barely looking up from her sketchbook. She seemed to be working on the face of some bimbo in the senior year when MJ slapped her back into yesterday for whatever reason. MJ was always unpredictable.

     "Yep." She said matter of factly, turning her pencil and pressing harder for shading. Ned sighed, hoping to get more information so that he could play Cupid again and get everything back to the way it was.

   "So, what happened?" He made a futile attempt to attach onto his straw with his tongue, eventually giving up and guiding the straw with his fingers. Patiently waiting for MJ to speak, the teen took her time as she shaded the other brunette's red cheek before putting down her pencil with satisfaction.

   "I was at his apartment," the pencil lead broke from her erratic force. "We were working on the group project from Spanish when we got into an argument for something stupid, I think it was about the plural of yeet. Anyways, he said for me to take what was mine and leave, so I took his hand and walked out."
  
   "You didn't!" Ned snorted on his soda, struggling to contain a barking laugh from his lips. MJ giggled slightly, after realising how humorous the story sounded.

   "I did. He was a blushing mess but we sorted it out and got ice cream." MJ closed her book and brought her phone up, selecting the photo of the last night.

  "When you say 'sorted it out', do you mean. . .?"

   "Yes."

   "Oh, my, god."
